My Wife and I spent 2 nights recently from Sunday to Tuesday at the resort and had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Staff were friendly and helpful, we checked in an hour or so early and the room was ready. We had a Deluxe Studio King room which was clean and tidy. The only downside was it didn't have a bath which would have been very useful on the cold windy day we were there. The Buffet breakfast was in the restaurant with nice views out onto the Lake and golf course. We also took advantage of the late checkout offered by the lovely personnel at the front desk. The best part was spending some quality time with my wife away fro the hustle and bustle of Sydney

We arrived at magenta at 4am and were keen to get into bed, the bed had a massive dip in the middle that was visible from across the room. The other beds in the 2 bedroom suite were too small for my husband to fit in. We were moved into a 3 bedroom suite which was obviously old. The couch was stained and it was obvious that a deep clean had not been done in a while, there were bug droppings in the corners of the room and the walls were dirty. The buffet breakfast was good and the heated pool was great for us and our daughter. I just think for the price it should have been a better standard for the room.

The hotel was fine. However I got a false claim charge on my CC for smoking inside the room which I did not. Upon confrontation the hotel has failed to provide me with any sort of evidence, and the card charge was only authorized not acquired yet which tells me a lot about how they do business. If the claim was valid there would be nothing stopping them from acquiring it. I never smoked in room in fact I threw out cigarette butts that I smoked somewhere else inside the trash bin. They claimed there was an odor of cigarette smell which is a subjective, perceived evidence. Currently this dispute has been notified to my card company as well as NSW Fair Trading. However the outcome may be for that dispute, I haven't been formally notified at all about this charge and this tells me that they were going to sneak in this claim. What kind of hotel does this? If they can do this for 250 bucks, what stops them from claiming that I burnt down the damn thing and charging me for an entire property? What a joke.

The area is beautiful. The units were comfortable. The front counter staff were lovely but dont expect anything extra. I requested a bin in the unit, this request went to numerous people but no bin arrived. My family and I went to the restaurant at 530 for a meal but because we didn't book we could not be seated. The restaurant was empty and we were happy to sit just outside the restaurant but we were not permitted. We ate at the bar, which the selection was limited. By the time we left, the restaurant was still empty. We went to the restaurant for breakfast and the lady was again going to turn us away because we did not book, again the restaurant was empty. We informed the lady that it was part of our package and we had already paid for breakfast. She was not happy but let us sit for breakfast. I am surprised this restaurant can survive with staff turning away paying customers.

Service - top notch. Location - top notch. Facilities at the centre - top notch. Rooms - excellent EXCEPT I prefer firm mattress (3 bed villa we stayed in had soft mattress) and the cleaners could have cleaned the room just a bit more thoroughly.
