My husband and I had a fantastic weekend away at this resort. There is SO much to do; you will not be bored staying here, either as a family or a couple. The villas were great. The bedroom, bathroom, and common rooms were huge. The upkeep of the verandas could be a tad better, and our spa bath wasn’t working, which wasn’t a big deal. This resort has a very peaceful atmosphere. The service is incredible; the staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel very comfortable. A shout-out to the hospitality staff: the food and service were fantastic! The Vie Spa is also great. The spa feels very zen, and the staff are very friendly and professional. We had the buffet breakfast, which was included with our room (or I believe you can purchase it at an extra cost), it's also great. They had a decent variety of food, and the quality was great. This is definitely somewhere we will be returning to!

We had a fantastic one-night stay at Pullman Magenta Shores on the way to Sydney. The hospitality was outstanding, with all staff contributing to a truly enjoyable experience. Due to our flights being canceled by the cyclone, we decided to drive to Sydney and break up the journey with a stay here—and we’re so glad we did. The highlight was the indoor heated pool, allowing for a swim no matter the weather. The hotel actually has three pools in total, including two outdoor lagoon-style pools. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was part of our package, and we enjoyed a beautiful view over the golf course while dining. The property offers plenty to do, with a day spa, golf course, driving range, beach access, tennis courts, and a well-equipped gym. It’s also a great place for a stroll. For dinner, there are two restaurant options, both accepting the Accor Plus dining card. The food was delicious, and the service was once again excellent. The location is ideal, just a short drive to Norah Head and its rock pool (perfect in good weather), as well as The Entrance, which has plenty of swimming spots, scenic walks, and even a fantastic shoe shop with an incredibly attentive owner and great prices.

Accommodation is 5 stars. Restaurant needs major work. Monday night week before Easter long weekend and it took 90 mins to cook 2 kids chicken tenders, chicken Caesar salad, and a burger. We sat on the cafe side and not in the restaurant (food comes out of the same kitchen). Food came out cold and would rate it less than 1 star if we could. 5 other families were still waiting for food and also complaining when we left. Most infuriating thing was patrons dining in the restaurant who ordered 40 minutes after us were still being served first. Staff acknowledged it was happening and were extremely apologetic although advised it was not within their control as the kitchen handles the orders. If this is your process for handling orders at least make your guests aware. As per other comments months ago, the indoor pool heater was not working. It’s still not working in March 2025.

Overall a nice 3 nights , the 3 bedroom villa we stayed in was beautiful . A little far away from the amenities and having a disabled son had to often use the car . Will definitely look at booking a closer villa next time as now we know the venue . The food and staff were amazing . Checkin was not available at 3pm , and was roughly 40min late which was a little disappointing along with the indoor pool heater being broken . Will be looking to definitely return and hopefully make amends on those few little concerns .

Overall a good holiday venue in a great location—close to beaches and town, yet peaceful and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, with a smart TV with casting (living room only) and a functional laundry (though the dryer marked clothes and needs servicing). Welcome wine and chocolates were a nice touch for loyalty, and front desk staff were generally friendly, with a helpful courtesy call the week before. That said, a few areas could improve: the indoor pool heater was broken (and had apparently been that way for some time—would’ve been nice to know in advance), and breakfast finishing at 10am felt a bit early, especially when only leftovers are available toward the end. Vegan options were limited unless pre-ordered 24h ahead, which doesn't suit flexible plans. High Tea booking times could have been communicated earlier to avoid disappointment. We still enjoyed our stay, but a little more communication and maintenance would go a long way.
