I recently stayed at the SAGE Hotel in Wollongong and was incredibly disappointed with the experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, restful getaway, this is not the place. The hotel is situated in an extremely noisy area, with car hoons performing burnouts and street racing late into the night, making it impossible to get any sleep. Despite raising these concerns, the reception staff did nothing to address the issue. On top of that, there were children running up and down the corridors, creating a racket both late at night and very early in the morning. Again, despite the noise complaints, the hotel staff made no effort to resolve the situation. For anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing stay, I would not recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, my stay was far from restful, and I would not be returning.

Great location and the room had generous proportions. The included continental breakfast, started early (perfect for workers) and was very good. The bed was comfortable and the pillows not too hard. I didn’t regret not taking my own for a change. I have one, tiny criticism: take your own shampoo because the supplied one is suspiciously similar to the body wash. As I said, a tiny complaint but a needless cheap, low point in an otherwise excellent indulgence.

Rooms are beautiful, clean and big. Beds are so comfy like sleeping on a cloud but supportive to. Food is so lovely. Staff are friendly and so helpful. Will suggest this hotel over any other. 🥰

Hotel Review: Staff: 4/5 Staff is friendly and welcoming. The receptionist was good and the check-in checkout process was very quick. Location: 4/5 The hotel is conveniently located near the main beach and several good restaurants. However, some of the beach view is obstructed by nearby buildings. Rooms: 3/5 Rooms offer a relatively good view of the golf course, especially from higher floors. However, the TVs are outdated and lack smart functions. The minibar fridge is also empty. Amenities: 2/5 The continental breakfast/buffet offers limited choices with some pastry plates left empty. Also it only servers cold food. Parking is an additional $25 if not included in the package. The pool and gym are extremely small and seem to only serve the purpose of maintaining the hotel's star rating. Overall: 3/5 This hotel does not live up to its 4-star rating. Be cautious about what you are paying for.

Definitely not worth 325 a night. Most of the rooms are Out dated rooms, views of construction down below. No complimentary condiments in the fridge. Rooms need some love, lick of paint for a start. I'd be lucky to call it 3 star. Overly Expensive laundry fees. I would advise either booking by phone and enquire about the room, Or if you can inspect room before paying. Very very mis leading photos And no complementary continental breakfast or reserve parking for your room, absolutely abysmal. Would not stay here again. Do your research. **update** upon voicing our concern to staff, the on duty manager upgraded our room to a much nicer room on the upper floors with great views of WIN Stadium and the eastern seaboard for free.
