One of the worst customer service experience ever. Highly not recommended. Management and staff do not value the customer's once paid for the hotel. Part of the IHG group. Pretty sure all hotels under this group are the same. Not worth the money at all. After the complaint management send me an email. I emailed back and no response. Pretty sure a template was used for the original email meaning these issues are a regular thing with this hotel. I would suggest try other hotels around the area and you won't be disappointed.

A peaceful, quiet hotel choice for a stay in Sydney's eastern suburbs. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay here. Special mention to the excellent service of both Charlotte at the front desk and the ladies in the Club lounge. The breakfast was excellent. We would stay again.

We are family from Melbourne that were looking to have a nice family rest in the beautiful Double Bay, Sydney. we arrived to the hotel last Friday the 3rd of Nov and we stay in the hotel for 4x nights until Tuesday the 7th of Nov. However from the moment we arrived we realized the hotel is definitely not a 5x stars hotel and if yes definitely not value the costly price. The hotel and rooms are very hold facilities. but the team members are very kind & nice and the location is fantastic. However, nobody inform us that renovations are taking place next to the hotel (from left side and from the back side of the hotel), when the view and the noise are extremely unpleasant. To conclude very disappointed vacation, not feel like 5x start experience, defiantly when the nice view is disturb with construction machine and during Friday, Monday and Tuesday we are waked up with construction noise of trucks, drilling and hammering. (I wish I can upload the video to share the noise)

Awesome staff, hotel and location! Kara at the front desk, Peter & Madarick at valet were the highlights of our stay at InterContinental. It was perfect it every way, with services and kindness, anticipating our needs. Did I mention the lovely rooftop pool? Breathtaking views!

Champagne on arrival, attentive and helpful staff, great views and their rooms seem to be larger than the Sydeny intercontinental for the same room type! So close to the pier for catch a fast ferry to the CBD and walking distance to all the food and shops
