Nice place to stay, beautiful view. Nice atmosphere, lovely staff. Rooms were lovely, only feedback I would give would be around cleanliness. The room wasn’t clean. Dirty glasses, hair in the shower, the wooden bed head was greasy, some of the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and I opened up the toilet lid to find a number two in the toilet. Shame, as the hotel itself is lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay! The ocean views were absolutely stunning — waking up to that view each morning was a real highlight. The service throughout our stay was friendly and helpful, and the valet parking was a breeze — quick, efficient, and stress-free. The pool area and games room were fantastic, especially for the kids. They had plenty to keep them entertained, which made it easy for us to relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-presented, offering a nice space to unwind after a busy day. One small downside was that the room didn’t have a microwave or any cutlery, which would have been convenient, especially when traveling with children. But overall, it was a great experience and a very family-friendly place. Would definitely consider coming back! Also Buffet breaky was a hit!

Old rooms, cracked tiles in bathroom, mould. The room was very dated and a bit grubby. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the views and location are good. The room service was ok but it took two days to clear the tray from outside our door which was unusual. The restaurants food and cocktails were good.

Impromptu night away for mums 71st birthday. Rydges was able to accommodate with an accessible room. Used valet parking however parking was very limited out the front of the motel, suggest asking where to park on arrival if full. Valet parking available for $35. Accessible room had large comfortable king bed and sofa bed. Handrails in the large open bathroom. Views of the harbour, pool and slide from lounge and bedroom windows. Needs a few minor upgrades in kitchen and furniture. Downstairs the bar and restaurant areas are open and airy! Beautiful sunlight streaming through and could sit for hours watching the many walkers with hounds and bike riders using the harbour foreshore. The coal ships entering the harbour and tug boats provided also free entertainment. We shared the chefs shared plate for dinner ($42) which was small but just what we were after. The restaurant was unexpectantly busy and wait staff were caught off guard. Overall the staff were great and made mum feel special and cared for on her birthday. Jordy, Amelia, Cameron and team were super helpful and I am grateful and appreciative of their service.

LOVED our stay here! We’ve traveled all over the world (in nice hotels) and this was one of the best - were shocked others rated it poorly. We stayed one week and wish we had longer there. Our room was modern, clean, spacious and well-appointed. Service was fantastic all-around (front desk, bar, restaurant, valet). The food and drinks were fantastic. Atmosphere so bright, airy, lively and relaxed but upscale. The pool was delightful and sooo clean. And the location really can’t be any better. A special shout out to Fergus (valet) who helped get/park our car multiple times - such a wonderful and friendly person who we always enjoyed chatting with. We HIGHLY recommend this hotel for business professionals and couples. (Families seemed to enjoy it as well.)
