A lovely hotel to stay. There is a great pool bar with lots of outdoor space. The rooms are a generous size, well made up and clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel has a regal and historical feel. Very trendy and a feeling of old world charm. The restaurant is lovely and the bars are great to sit around with comfortable lounge areas to relax. I would definitely stay here again

We needed a hotel at short notice and wanted to stay within the IHG chain as I’m a Platinum member - plus we had our puppy with us, so pet-friendly was a must. Kimpton Margot Sydney ticked every box plus more! I was able to book on points at a very reasonable rate, and they welcome pets with no extra fee (rare and very appreciated!). We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. My status was recognised with a lovely room upgrade, and they even brought in a dog bed and treats. Importantly, if you’re not travelling with pets, don’t let the pet policy put you off. The hotel is spotless, no pet smell, and feels like any other five-star property. Service was outstanding — the front desk team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Parking was easy and very fairly priced: 24-hour parking across the street at First Parking (under the Meriton) was $45, excellent for the middle of the CBD. Location is perfect too — right in the city, close to Hyde Park for easy dog walks.

Just spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect. It’s my new favourite Sydney hotel. The staff are amazing. We attended a Gatsby themed bottomless lunch and it was fantastic. It was so great to see everyone so dressed up. The lady who hosted it was full of personality and did a wonderful job (was also the DJ on the roof top bar later and rocked it). Highly recommend

One of the most beautiful hotels i've stayed in. Great staff, quick room service, great big rooms. The mini fridge is stocked with various drinks. I was given a nice fruit basket and welcome note on the first day. Every day they personally give you a weather card and chocolate. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, trains, and the mall. I loved my stay and will recommend this hotel to everyone!

Certainly “unique”. We got upgraded to a room for accessibility, the bathroom was huge but the shower head/pressure was pretty average. The room had no windows (only frosted panes of glass). The room was clean and styled nicely and the bed was super. Location was pretty good, one street back from George street where you can catch light rail just about anywhere.
