Pros: Great location and staff on ground floor. (Emily especially at front desk is next level helpful). Nice internal bar and sound enough restaurant meaning you don't need to go out. And if you do, plenty of shops nearby. Rooms are spacious, linen clean and bathroom was laid out nicely. Cons: While room was mostly clean, not entirely so. Note enclosed photo of toenail on carpet from last guest (or one prior even to that). Mattress was a little uneven meaning an average sleep. Pool needed a clean also so as to be more inviting or even appealing from the view from rooms. All things considered, I would still stay here again.

I had a great stay for 2 nights at Atura Albury. Double queen bed room is clean and comfortable as advertised. Hotel is strategically located in Albury CBD with a short walk to many nearby restaurants, shops, Botanic gardens and Hovell Tree Park/Murray River. Buffet breakfast offers good variety, fresh and delicious. Friendly and helpful reception staff too!

Tired rooms. Filthy rooms. Great location. Excellent ground level staff. We spent Easter weekend at Atura, loved the location, ground level restaurant, reception and staff were exceptional but it’s a totally different experience when you head to you room. Room was filthy with unbearable dust. Not cleaned properly. A discarded pill from a previous guest was missed on the floor and picked up bu curious child. won’t mention when we found when pulling out the couch/bed. Cleaning staff tried to access our room on two occasions before we checked out and were very rude. We started packing our car and came back to cleaner in our room, had already stripped the bed, yet we were still 1.5hes away from check out AND had told them twice (when they tired to enter room while we were sleeping) that we were not checking out until 11am. Absolutely flabbergasted about the cleaning staff, this also happened to the room beside, and across from us. Won’t be staying again. I’m hoping can add photos to this review.

It calls itself a 4 star hotel, but to be honest it is far from it. Cleaning in the room was superficial at best, with the filth on the curtains so bad, it made our kids clothing so dirty they couldn't wear them. The wear and tear in the room (and the whole hotel to be honest) is pretty bad as well with the bathroom showing lots of water damage. It clearly hasn't been updated in a long time. The room smelt of stale smoke, and for a double Queen room the fitout is very poor with 2 flimsy wooden chairs a small table and a small plastic chair and desk.... Again, all very cheap and flimsy. Even basic things weren't done. We had 2 adults and 2 children in our room, but we were only given 2 towels. My experience with the front desk staff was very poor as well, and they were quite rude and didn't really show much concern for guests. This was my experience at check in where we were told to use the machine, and at the times I asked for help, there were very dismissive. The only staff member who was helpful was a cleaner we met on the first day. We drove here, and we were told that there was guest parking on site. However, this is not the case. It is an open car park, and because the RSL next door has paid parking, everyone parks in the "hotel" car park. It's so bad that when we went to dinner we could not get a car park on our return. We asked the front desk person if we could park at the front, and we were told we would have to find a park on the street in town, as they don't guarantee parking for guests. Again, just really poor form for a hotel that claims to be 4 star. Finally the bar and restaurant is a joke for a 4 star hotel. It had an ok but limited breakfast, and after that everything to do with food and drink closes until 5pm. There is no room service, and you can't buy anything from the bar, or restaurant downstairs until 5 PM. My advice is do not stay here, it is not a 4 star hotel... It is 3 at best, and that feels a little like a stretch. For $200 a night you would.be better off going to Quest. It put a bad taste on an otherwise great stay in Albury.

Reasonable hotel, good staff, excellent bar and kind of a chill place to hang out after work. Excellent bathrooms but small but the shower is excellent with plenty of hot water and pressure. beds are comfy and had a good sleep.
