We stayed two nights, checked in on the Easter Sunday. The lady who helped us was very friendly and helpful. She suggested buffet breakfast and offered price comparison. The process was seamless. The room was spacious and clean. Well worth the money we paid. There was a writing desk as well as a small dining table which I found very useful. It is located centrally, walking distance to all the restaurants and retail shops. Buffet breakfast was reasonably stocked but slightly short on variety. (raisin toast had run out the second day, and no mushroom for the two days we were there) Overall speaking a very pleasant stay.
Have stayed here several times due to its excellent location. Walking distance to all the cafes, shops and Botanic Gardens. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Beds ultra comfy! The atmosphere was lively and friendly. Only recommendation would be to update the carpet which was quite worm and stained in the hall ways.
Being familiar with the Atura brand in Sydney, I was a little disappointed with Atura Albury. The hotel is in a great location. It’s within easy walking distance of many of the town’s best cafes and restaurants. However, it’s looking a bit worn around the edges, and cleanliness could be improved by addressing stained carpets, dirty vents and dusty fixtures. At the price point, over $200 per room per night, I think it’s reasonable to expect a well-presented property. The room itself was a good size, with a big bed, sheets that were crisp, clean and white and decent pillows. It was nice to have a window that actually opened for fresh air, even on the fifth floor. The view from room gave me a nice view of sunrise. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The pool was small but attractively presented. I chose to dine off-site.
First time to stay and the stay was generally good. Issues. - Corridor carpet should have been replaced years ago. Has holes in it. That's just poor. - Breakfast is average. Quantity is not lacking, but quality and variety is. Also need to know that barista coffee not inc. Staff are excellent and doing the best with the investment they have. Bathroom on Level 2 was good, but due to poor design the shower water escapes to the wider floor area.... this problem can't be fixed because it is likely a cheaper option selected at renovation time that can't be undone. Would we stay again? Maybe.
Good hotel, rooms are spacious, has extra seating & comfy clean bed. Very relaxed feel, nice bar, good breakfast, easy check in/out, friendly staff, big carpark with no hassles & what I loved was a window you can open for fresh air (& a nice view) Hotel is easy walking distance from shops, pubs & restaurants. Would stay here again, I think it’s good value for money.
