Very small room. No chair, just footstool to sit on. Clean room. Coffee in foyer was nice, $5. Self check in via keypad, so not full service if your looking for that. We would stay again. Awoken at 6am by commercial trucks emptying bins, very noisy. Not sound proof windows at all. Good Television.

We stayed at this hotel for one night, expecting a pleasant experience given the $250 price tag and 4 star hotel. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Upon entering our room, we found it to be quite dusty and not properly cleaned. The hand lotion was not replenished, and the kettle was covered in dust. There was no water and telephone in the room. The bathroom was also unclean, which was disappointing. Since we were two guests, we expected at least two cups and two glasses, but there was only one of each provided. To add to our frustrations, we had to evacuate the hotel at midnight due to a fire alarm. While we understand this was not the hotel’s fault, it was an inconvenience for all guests, and there was no acknowledgment of the disruption. Regarding breakfast, we anticipated a buffet as part of our stay, but instead, we were presented with a limited menu. When we ordered coffee, we were informed it wasn’t included in the breakfast package, requiring an additional charge. We also wanted to order hash browns, which were listed as part of the included breakfast, but they were unavailable. Additionally, the chai latte we ordered tasted more like plain milk. Based on service we received, this hotel felt more like a one star hotel rather than 4 star hotel. Overall, our experience at this hotel was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it to others. I wouldn’t consider returning in the future.

Do not stay here unless it's in the Winter. Half the rooms face west and get all the afternoon sun, turn into absolute heat sinks in the afternoon. Windows only open a small amount, not enough to let in air flow. Air con is beyond a joke, not able to hear the TV when it's on, and no chance when sleeping (noted in almost every other review). Hotel is well located and appears nice and modern at first glance, but fails upon any closer inspection. Mattress was very springy and uncomfortable. Would not stay again.

I paid nearly $1400 for a 4-night stay in a single queen room, and for that price, I expected far better standards. While the location in Wollongong is decent, everything else was a complete letdown. First off, cleanliness was atrocious. Room service plates sat outside our door for 15 HOURS, and trash piled up outside other rooms for ages without being collected. Inside the room, things were just as bad. There’s nowhere to hang towels, and one of the two hooks was broken. The shower grate came off, creating a serious tripping hazard, and to make matters worse, there was black mould underneath it—clearly neglected for ages. Our toilet was also constantly leaking. Despite putting up the “Please Make Up Room” sign for hours every single day, our room was never cleaned. Not once. We only got new towels once, and with nowhere to properly hang the ones we had (thanks to the broken hook), they couldn’t dry, leaving us with damp, gross towels. For nearly $1400, I expected a clean, functional room and basic service. Instead, I got the bare minimum and a load of frustration.

The hotel tries to be a nice boutique hotel but it misses out on the little but very important things like cleanliness. We checked in and went into the room and unfortunately, the bedsheet had a big stain on it. So we changed to a new room and hoped for the best. The room looked clean at first but after pulling back the blanket we found some hair and also pubic hair. Slightly disgusted we changed the room again. Not perfect but cleaner. The window in the room had an open gap even when fully closed. Air-con didn't really work and was extremely loud (in all the rooms)so we had to turn it off. The toilet in the room could use a toilet brush. The manager offered a 25.- voucher for the restaurant which we needed, because even if we booked the room including breakfast you’ll don’t get any hot or cold beverages with it. This point is nowhere mentioned on the booking site(hotel or booking.com). The quality of the breakfast is underwhelming.Poached eggs are cold and overcooked. The Mushrooms have been killed on the hotplate. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate, but if the housekeeping is not up to the game they can't do anything.
