Reviews for Hilton Darwin

I had a long stay with Darwin Hilton on Mitchell street, service overall was good. Eating at the restaurant can be a little expensive, if your staying for an extensive stay. Food is excellent, enjoyed breakfast when i could, great variety and will cook what you want. Rooms are well presented and I was happy with my stay.

Hi, I stayed at the Hilton Darwin, Mitchell Street, for three nights recently for a work conference. The rooms were very nice and tidy. I had 2 massive beds, a comfy chair, a chair & a weird study desk set up. There were no wine glasses, tho, when needed on my first night. Upon letting staff on shift know this (replying to a welcome text), 2 glasses arrived at my door within 15mins - it was so unexpected, I was going to go in search of some in the morning :) My "view" was limited to the back of the pool & across rooftops. Never mind :) as there's plenty of opportunity to see sunsets etc when undertaking the short walk to the waterfront. Reception staff are polite, friendly, and accommodating. After checkout on our last day, our bags were securely stored until we were ready to go to the airport. Overall, it was a great hotel with professional and polite staff.

Great location in Darwin, close to everything. Lovely sea views from the upper floors. Rooms and corridors and lobby all recently refurbished. Clean and simple. Bathrooms basic but fine. Swimming pool and gym not updated recently. All in all great hotel in Darwin as a clean friendly base to explore the city.

Hi stayed at the Hilton Darwin for three nights recently for a work conference. The rooms were very nice and tidy. I particularly found the study desk and chair very comfortable to work for extended periods of time and this was a real bonus. Reception staff are polite, friendly, and accommodating. The buffet food was delicious. The menu’s scallops and Linguini was a great combination for an entre’e and main. The hotel gym was ok but really needs a couple of exercise bikes at a minimum. Although props for having clean towels, water, sanitiser wipes and a treadmill. Overall this is wonderful hotel with professional and polite staff.

Stayed for six nights a week ago, when our tour operator transferred us from a fairly poor establishment just down the road. But delighted it happened because this is a lovely, high standard hotel, staffed by very friendly and helpful people. Did not eat there so cannot comment on that, but the location, room and view were superb. Darwin is somewhat 'different' to other Australian cities (some aspects good, some aspects not so good!), but the Hilton Darwin will not disappoint and we would certainly use again.
