Absolutely fantastic on all counts! Spent three nights at Sanctuary Cove Retreat and would definitely go again. Gorgeous buildings and grounds - my room overlooked the canals where the boats are moored. Very well-appointed room and bathroom. The service was amazing. Every single staff member was friendly and polite and couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent food - breakfast was amazing with so much choice. We had dinner at the Fireplace Restaurant, and it was outstanding.

We stayed at Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove for my wife’s birthday for two nights, and the team went above and beyond to make it truly special—especially for her. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, every staff member we met was warm, welcoming, and attentive. A special mention to Nanomi at the front desk for her kindness and professionalism, and a big shout-out to the amazing concierge team for their help throughout our stay. As a Diamond member, I really appreciated the little extras, like the 2 pm late checkout, which gave us more time to explore the property and enjoy the facilities. The room upgrade and thoughtful amenities in the room were such a lovely touch and made the celebration even better. We had an amazing time and left with wonderful memories. We’ll definitely be back and will be telling our friends and family to visit too!

Stayed 2 nights and arrived midnight. Front staff were great. As a Gold Ambassador of Intercontinental we received an upgrade to a Queenslander Suite, which was fantastic and much appreciated as we had our daughter with us. The separate bedroom was great from a privacy perspective. It was pouring with rain at the time of arrival and the front desk man (wish I remembered his name) followed us to the car park in a buggy and then drove us to the room so we didn’t get soaked. Grounds were lovely, kangaroos roamed freely and the pool and lagoon pool were great. Happy to recommend.

We wished we could have stayed longer! A lovely hotel on sensational grounds! From the get go the service was impeccable. We stayed for our ten year anniversary and were delighted by the details that the hotel provided to make our stay special. The Fireplace restaurant was a nice setting with a good wine list. The pool, lagoon and spa all looked amazing and we wish we could have stayed a little longer to enjoy them all. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Amazing staff and service! It was our first time to stay to celebrate my daughter's 18th. Impeccable service from Front Desk staff, Concierge and Restaurant. We loved the buggy service provided to and from the shops! The only downside was the rainy weather and was in middle of winter, we didn't get the chance to do the full resort experience! 5 stars!
