The rooms were clean spacious and reasonably well equipped. The included breakfast wasn't bad. Situated conveniently and made for a pleasant stay. Luggage storage is handy. Friendly helpful staff. Everyone including housekeeping smiled and said hello.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central for two weeks, and while my overall experience was moderately satisfying, there were a few issues that left me disappointed. Upon arrival, I found a stained pillow in my room, and when I brought it to the attention of the staff, their response was fairly casual, which was not reassuring. Additionally, the hotel buffet lacked variety and was mostly the same every day, which became monotonous over my extended stay. Despite these concerns, the hotel is in a convenient location and offers decent amenities, but there's definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and service.

This hotel was a mixed bag. The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival, but their service seemed to decline throughout our stay. Room service was disappointing, with coffee, milk, and tissues not being replenished, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. The beds weren't made well either. However, the hotel's location was excellent, and I would consider staying there again.

I stayed for a few nights recently and everything was perfect. The bedrooms and the service was flawless and I enjoyed my stay. However, the only thing that left a bad impression on my mind was one of the receptionists. I believe her name was Junny as it said so on her name tag, she was extremely rude and unhelpful. After the first night, I had noticed some suspicious sounds in my room that sounded as if someone was trying to open my door. I raised my concerns with her, as she was the person at the front desk at the time, but she was very reluctant to help me, and kept talking over me when I was trying to explain the situation. I told her my concerns and she kept following them with, “there’s absolutely nothing I can do about that”, in a rude and fed up tone. After a while, I retreated back to my room seeing as I knew she wasn’t going to help me. She kept getting more and more aggressive which led to me (a customer) having to try and calm HER down. As someone who works in hospitality I just think that this is extremely unprofessional and just an unpleasant situation. As a result, that night I had a terrible sleep. The next day, after I came back to the hotel very tired, and planning on bringing up the issue to the front desk, hoping that someone would actually help me this time or at least try and offer an explanation. However, I entered the lobby and saw that it was the same girl at the front desk. Not wanting to have a repeat of the night before, I went back up to my room. After a while however, the noise became unbearable and I decided to call them. The phone didn’t seem to be working and so this led to her yelling “Hello?”many times in a, yet again, frustrated tone, and ultimately just hanging up on me.

Hotel is convenient to Central Station, turn left from the ticket gates. Rooms are nice overall although the bed was fairly firm. The blockout blinds are the best I've ever seen, why can't more hotels use this design as they are fitted to the window frame so completely block the light, very useful in Brisbane summer when it's light early. The included breakfast had a good range. I'd consider staying here again.
