Hotel is located in the goods location close to everything you need including public transport. Hotel staff were all very helpful, and the lobby had a nice assortment of games for our 4yo. The rooms were cosy / small and could of used a more thorough vacuum as there were some items on the floor under the bed. The bed itself was comfortable and the smart TV connected easily for casting services. There is no pool or gym. Breakfast is advertised as continental however it was somewhere in between buffet / continental as there were a few extra options. Also the coffee machine kept needing to be fixed on both days but was a very minor issue. Staff were lovely and helpful always. We would stay here again 🙂
Just got checked in today and was given a room at level 2, corner room even when I am an IHG member. I asked if I can change to a better room but was shocked to hear that the rooms were fully booked for the night but surprisingly, the two guests after me got better rooms than mine. Requested to change to another room on the following day but the floor manager again insisted that they are fully booked for the whole week. I then told him that I overheard just now that someone was checking out the next day cause he is only going to stay for a night. But yet, he still claimed that it was fully booked during my stay period. I guess he just simply refuse to provide some added on services for me. It shall be my first and will also be my last time staying here due to their poor service that I would not want to remember.
Honestly you would be better off sleeping in your car. You’d have more room. And do not book here if you like a bit a fresh air. There is literally no fresh air in the rooms at all. I couldn’t even turn the exhaust fan on in the bathroom because there isn’t one. This was booked for me by a third party through a workcover claim. I’ve booked out and will find my own accommodation that isn’t a 4m x 4m box. And don’t think about sharing a room with someone that hasn’t seen you butt naked before. The walls for the bathroom are frosted glass so no privacy there. For $300 a night you’ve got to be kidding
Nice stay, comfy room and it was quiet too which was nice. Only there for one night but would stay again especially for to have parking and breakfast included in the rate. The car parks are quite tight and it was a bit confusing at first not knowing that we had to see reception before parking. Breakfast was ok, they ran out of some stuff constantly like glasses & coffee mugs which was a bit annoying. As well as croisssants etc. Due to waiting so long for refills of coffee cups we ordered coffee from the reception part - think one person was training & didn't quite get it right but overall it was a good experience.
Great location away from busy Brisbane CBD areas if you drive & need parking. Ensure you book + pay for parking when you book a room. The spacious room has 2 large beds. Everything is very nice except the toilet is loosed. It’s very strange for a nice Holiday Inn Express hotel. Toilet seat for room 917 is loosed & kept wanting to close its lid….. :)
