Where is the pool? You show one on your website, that pool does not exist, person on desk told us the Terrace shares a pool with a hotel two doors down. It’s not the pool in the photo. False advertising, take the photo down!!! Bathroom was terrible, a shower over the bath, and it wasn’t properly cleaned. The room had one chair, so two people could not sit out on the dirty balcony. Very slow check in , reception people not friendly. But on a good note, the bed was really comfy and the dining room staff were awesome, food was great. If you Google The Terrace Hotel Adelaide look at the photos, there is one of the “supposed “ pool. Then take it down. 22/1/25 The photo of the pool is still on your website. Please take it down or I will be reporting you. It is illegal to show photos of a pool that doesn’t exist on you website.

Lovely hotel with good sized rooms and clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and I feel it's very good value for the price. As a business traveller I appreciated the larger desk in the queen suite and a lounge to relax too. The balcony gave great views over the city. I appreciated the park over the road too for evening walks for exercise. Overall this hotel deserves a higher rating than others have given it. Also having a small iga close by I found very convenient.

The staff were lovely, had no issues there. The room was pretty basic for the "executive suite" we got. Included breakfast was also pretty basic. I wouldn't have paid the $28 price tag for it separately, was absolutely not worth that. The bain Marie style food servery containers also didn't stay open, you had to hold them and there was nowhere to put your plate to actually serve your food. My real issue though is the non-compliant fire doors to the room! Fire doors are meant to be sealed all the way around, as per Australian building standards; not have gigantic gaps beneath the door and light beaming in through the sides. Should that carpet be on fire in the hallway, it would have spread straight under the door into the room. And the only viable emergency exit for us was right outside the door. Balcony was nice but no chairs or anything to even move out there to sit and enjoy the view. Bed was nice, but only one included pillow per side was a bit annoying. Elevators were so incredibly smooth, didn't feel a single jolt between floors or at the start/end of the move up or down. The left side smaller one did screech like a banshee when it opened or closed though, metal on metal scraping on the door, but that was pretty mild. The included parking was very good, number plate recognition for entry and exit, no need to remember codes or have someone buzz you out, that was nice. Secondary to the fire door issue, is the soundproofing. I could hear every door open/close and chatter from the hallway outside our room, which was of course a little concerning to think we could also be heard from inside the room. Diminished the privacy of the place a little. There's a little lip step into the bathroom, and a crack through the bathroom floor, which is also a little concerning being on the top floor. Toilet seat moved around, wasn't properly secured and there was no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. Just a dusty old vent above the toilet and a down light in the shower itself. Huge lounge style chair that was very uncomfortable, couldn't fit two, and a desk with a chair, nowhere else to sit other than the bed. The room isn't really suited for a couple, other than the king size bed. Overall there was some issues, but it was a nice stay, once again, staff were lovely, aside from their choice to mop the front foyer at 0800 with nothing but elderly patrons moving around whom could easily slip and fall. Mop at night, it would make more sense. No little card with information for room service or anything like that.

Great location. Good bed and TV. Terrible bathroom. Toilet behind door and shower over a very deep bath, difficult to enter and leave especially when wet. Whole hotel needs a bit of love.

The suite we stayed in was quite spacious, with fantastic views. Let down only by a lack of cleaning upon arrival, also a stain on the bedding, and a weird placement of an air conditioning tube which meant you couldn't fully close the curtains in front of the bed, so expect to be blasted by sunlight at 6am. Staff were polite but not overly outgoing or friendly, I'd expect a bit more from hotel staff. The buffet for $28 was good enough, a moderate selection of hot foods, cereal and pastries, worth the money, though the hot food was more like lukewarm which was a slight let down. Very central location for accessing parts of the city. Check in was very slow. With just a few slight improvements to the rooms cleaning, curtains and enthusiasm from staff could easily be 5 stars, at least for their suites.
