The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. What a waste of money. We were over charged for what we got. Booked a ‘family’ suite. Room was tiny, bathroom dirty, old and shower barely dribbled. PowerPoints in room didn’t work, carpet was sticky and the shower glass had graffiti all over it. Room wasn’t serviced, we were not given enough towels for the amount of people we had booked for and we paid $35 a night extra for car parking - and there were no car parks available over night. Spoke to other guests who had paid $200 less than us a night, and were offered free breakfast and parking. We received nothing. Would not recommend staying here…EVER!

Great hotel. Although 3 star the room is a good size, clean and and comfortable. It's what you expect for a 3 star. The service desk and staff are wonderful and accommodating and informative. We got a great deal including extras. Close to the beach, restaurants and trams. Could not fault anything except for the slow lift but they do warn you, love the humor! but there is a 2nd lift. Very happy with all.

The staff are excellent and really try to do a great job with a terrible product. Pros: Great staff, comfortable beds, decent TV, quick laundry service, breakfast passable. Cons: paper thin walls, inconsistent hot water, rooms serviced every 3 days, keys had to be reset every day, lifts are snail slow (and they joke about it). If you get a connecting room, immediately seek a different room. You can hear EVERYTHING. To be fair, I never complained to the hotel to give them the chance to fix things, but these were pretty basic things.

Disappointed!! So many things to say and not much is good. There was advertising for ‘happy hour’ everywhere throughout the hotel for the in house bar but it was never open!! Then both mornings someone (I assume staff given our door was locked) entered our room whilst we were inside even though there was a note to say we would not get any room servicing for a stay less than 3 days. There was hair on the pillow, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the shower was mouldy and then to top it off we got charged mini bar fees when we hadn’t even used anything!! Very annoying and when I tried to question it got the run around from staff. Stay elsewhere.

Great location but room wasn't very clean. TV didnt work and when we tried to get it going, the back of it hadn't been cleaned for years, thick layers of dust totally covering the back. The blue-ish bed cover at the end of bed, had brown blotch stains on it so that went on the floor not to be touched, and towels are tiny, not proper bath towels.
