Stayed at this hotel and accidentally left a jacket in the wardrobe. Called the hotel the day I checked out to ask them to put it aside for collection. They said it's not there, they haven't got it in lost property and also hadn't booked any new guests I to the room. I believe thus leaves one option, being that perhaps the cleaner had collected it and not put it in the lost property register. Of course they denied this as a possibility but also offered no additional reasons it wouldn't still be in the wardrobe or on the lost property register. Didn't offer to speak with the cleaner again, or call of it turned up. Very disappointing way for them to respond and not care that an expensive item was left at their venue. Wouldn't recommend. Entrance smelt too strong of scent stick (made us feel sick everything we came in or left). Bathrooms way outdated and look unclean. Booked the venue as it said it had parking, only to find out it was extra per day.
The room was clean and comfortable. The air con was on when I arrived which I really appreciated. I had booked parking but when I went to pay for it, they wouldn't accept Google pay. Lucky I had a physical card for the deposit, but I had to park at the prince car park instead. I've never stayed at a hotel that doesn't let me use goggle pay!! When I was checking out, I asked if I could use the car park just to load up all my luggage. The lady told me that they can't manually open the garage, you can only get in with a room card. I pointed out that someone let me in when I arrived, but she stuck to her story. I'll never stay there again just for the fact that the staff seem to enjoy making life difficult!
The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. What a waste of money. We were over charged for what we got. Booked a ‘family’ suite. Room was tiny, bathroom dirty, old and shower barely dribbled. PowerPoints in room didn’t work, carpet was sticky and the shower glass had graffiti all over it. Room wasn’t serviced, we were not given enough towels for the amount of people we had booked for and we paid $35 a night extra for car parking - and there were no car parks available over night. Spoke to other guests who had paid $200 less than us a night, and were offered free breakfast and parking. We received nothing. Would not recommend staying here…EVER!
Would never stay here again - photos shown online are misleading as not all rooms look like the nice modern pictures advertised which feels very dishonest as you obviously expect to get what you’re showing online. Raised these issues with staff multiple times and not much was done but it’s also not their fault as I’m sure they don’t manage advertising. Not only do the rooms not look as advertised they were dirty with cobwebs and dead bugs on the window sill. Reached out to management via email and never got a response which gives me the impression they just don’t care - would highly recommend avoiding
Room was basic and very clean. Reception staff were helpful. Location was excellent. Overall great stay. Morning breakfast was good and coffee even better. I'd come back to stay
