I recently stayed at voco with my family, and it was a fantastic experience! The supervisor was absolutely excellent - very attentive and accommodating. One of the highlights was when they swapped our small rooms for a bigger one upon request - really showed their commitment to guest satisfaction. The buffet breakfast was amazing - lots of delicious options to start the day right. We also loved spending time by the swimming pool, taking in the stunning views of the Melbourne skyline. It was a great way to relax and unwind during our stay. There were a couple of minor issues with billing during our stay, but the supervisor was quick to clarify and resolve these issues - kudos for their prompt and helpful response. Overall, we'd definitely consider staying at voco again. Great service, good food, and lovely amenities with a view.

Beautiful hotel, but stripped of joy This is undeniably a beautiful hotel - quiet, clean, lovely design, and in an excellent location, the lifts are fast! But somewhere along the way, it’s been stripped of all the little touches that make staying in a hotel feel special. No frills, no extras, no joy. Not one added extra in the room (aside from tea and coffee). No minibar. No bottled water (didn’t like refilling my water bottle under the bathroom tap). No toiletries (unless you go to reception to ask for something you may have forgotten to bring) and the body wash and hand wash etc in the shower / bathroom all mostly empty and dirty. No tissues in the gym. My hotel floor smells like sewerage. The most joyous treat was this single biscuit sitting at the bell desk. There’s so much to love here, but it’s missing the magic. A few thoughtful touches would go a long way.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Stay – Exceptional Service & Comfort! We had a truly wonderful stay at voco Melbourne Central and were thoroughly impressed by the excellent service and hospitality extended to us throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly with genuine smiles and were consistently pleasant and welcoming. Their friendly demeanour and attentiveness made us feel right at home. One thing that stood out was the efficiency of the lifts – they were impressively fast, which we really appreciated, especially during busy times. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The team was also very accommodating when we requested an early check-in and late check-out – while subject to availability, they made every effort to meet our needs and communicated clearly throughout. We also made use of the gym during our stay, and the equipment was easy to use and in excellent condition. The staff were proactive in giving helpful recommendations, such as letting us know it might be too cold and windy for a swim in the outdoor pool – a thoughtful gesture that showed they genuinely cared about guests’ comfort. Above all, what truly made our stay memorable was the consistently prompt and courteous service from the entire team. Every query we had was answered efficiently, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. voco Melbourne has one of the most impressive hotel teams we’ve encountered – professional, helpful, and warm. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Lovely person on the phone prior to us checking in helped organised twin beds for our stay when I rang on the day I was driving to Voco. Couple other times I phone them were picked up by staff shortly. Lovely young gentleman was very patient and kind. He came greeted us at the valet parking as the gate was closed. He was kind and offered to help us with luggage but we declined his help. Front desk staff was another lovely young man who was friendly and offered upgrade to higher floor. Premium room is decently sized considering it’s a new hotel in CBD. Nice luxury beddings but pillows quite small and not fluffed up. Some dust on the mini bar. We went out today and return to have fresh towels but our beds were not made, mini bar not replenished, no coffee capsules, tea bags not filled and we also found a dusk cloth on the mini bar which was probably left behind by housekeeper. Lady on ground floor at the service desk sees us but never greet or say hi and bye which is not the standard. Upon checkout I provided the feedback to the front desk and they waived me one night valet parking fee of $70 which is very kind of them. But the staff member who took us to basement for our car wasn’t as courteous because he didn’t even offer to push our luggage (was a tiny carry on) nor did he offer to put it in the car. Supposedly good view being on level 25 but the windows are dirty so can’t see much clearly. Buffet breakfast is $28 per head Outdoor heated pool. Not too bad for a 4 star in Mel cbd. I would return.

Above and beyond First time in this hotel and very impressed. Firstly, I left my phone in the car from the airport and the reception team actually cared and tried everything to find it. (It was dropped back a couple of hours later by Melbournes best limo team Grant and Shelley). Then the rooms - I had low expectations but I shouldn't have. While the rooms are compact they have thought of every detail. Even down to a shaving mirror that is actually useful and a torch in the cupboard in case of a blackout I suppose. (Although there was no face washer in the bathroom)? I also noticed some airline crews in the lobby - lucky them to score a place like this. Location is not brilliant for business (wrong end of town) but great for everything else eg Hardware Lane, Kirk's wine bar... Thank you to the wonderful and empathetic front office team. Finally, I paid a little more for an upper floor. Good call. (Also I forgot to mention, the lifts are fast and clean and efficient).
