Super tasty food and lovely presented. Choice of 75$ banquet was definitely worth it. The only disappointment of the evening was a lack of service. Service wasn’t attentive at all…. We had to ask to place the order for the drinks, for the food and we also had to ask for the water for the table … on separate occasions. This is just a basic of customer service really. To top it off… The table wasn’t cleaned after we ate for about good 20 min… the place wasn’t that busy. The lighting could have been better to actually compliment the food…the pinkish/orange light made the dishes look the same .

Our dinner at The George on Collins was great and it's all thanks to Niko's fantastic service. From the moment we sat down, Niko made us feel right at home. His expert advice helped us navigate the options. We opted for the $89 Banquet for 2, and it did not disappoint. Each dish had great flavours and presentation. But what really made our evening special was Niko's thoughtful recommendations, including the amazing 'One Morning in Paris' mocktail. My husband enjoyed his whisky. There was a great Friday night vibe with the DJ and some great background music. We will return!

We were returning from a Sunday matinee performance at the theatre and looking for somewhere open at 4:30 because we were quite hungry. We hadn’t eaten lunch, but it wasn’t quiet dinner time either. We walked into The George on Collins and had a fantastic meal. The staff was terrific. The kitchen wasn’t open for full service at that time, but they still catered for us, and we could order off the dinner menu, which we were grateful for. It was all wonderful, but my favourite was the chicken lettuce cups and pork spring rolls.

Exceptional food and service. We had a birthday celebration dinner with 6 having the buffet selection. It was incredible quality with flavours bursting in every mouthful. Service was also excellent, attentive and friendly and knowledgeable. Music was quite loud and made it challenging to converse in the circle booth though but didn’t diminish our experience. Thank you TGoC crew. We will be back super soon 🖤

This was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday and my sisters birthday! The food was divine, service was outstanding. We were even offered free champagne to start our lunch for our birthday. We loved everything we ordered and found our new favourite cocktail, 'One night in Paris', mmmmm We loved the entertainment, both the roaming singers had wonderful voices and sung a variety of music. Overall, we can't wait to find an excuse to go back!
