My stay at Sovoy Hotel was delightful. The hotel boasts a beautiful ambiance, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Located in the heart of the CBD, it's conveniently close to everything. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in the city.

My wife and I just returned from a quick 2 days in Melbourne. We started at the Savoy and we were glad we did. Lovely quaint hotel, more than enough sized rooms, clean facilities and friendly staff. A standout was Gerald on the ground floor bar/restaurant, friendly, helpful and a delight all round. We had dinner on the last night in that restaurant and it was fantastic. We will be back again for sure. Thankyou

We stayed here 3 nights and it’s the perfect location close to southern cross station, trams, etc. The rooms- newly redecorated, feel modern and yet had a few things for improvements. The bed is comfortable but moves if you bump into it, the light stream in through the front door so you don’t get full blackout- towels are your best friend, coffee machine is great in the room, the bathroom was a mess- water leaks out of the bathroom every time you have a shower which when I complained I got given a whole bunch of towels to place on the floor- design flaw is what I was told. To step on wet towels is not great everyday and I was fed up with this: I did not enjoy this experience at all and would be a major driver for me not to choose this hotel again! Service was fine. What I would expect. Breakfast buffet - was ok, coffee was undrinkable. Bar staff in the lounge was fantastic. Made a fabulous penicillin and we really appreciated the confidence with which he did it. Live music adds a great vibe: not sure why on a weekend the bar would close at 10, so there was no nightcap after dinner! Overall ok.

Not worth the money, for a 250$ p/night you can easily find so many other hotels in better location, with better room. Rooms are pitch dark, very dated and no amenities or water in the room at all. if you open the blinds people can see you in the room. Also very noisy as soon as the breakfast opens. Seen many better places for under 200 bucks.

Great location, rooms, staff, comfortable, small hotel. Great location next to tram and skybus. four stars, because no vanity sets that you would expect from a hotel like this, which are you really useful when you’re travelling. Top tip if coming from the airport use the Skybus, the stop is just over the road from the hotel within walking distance, it runs from very early am to quite late ( check times)
