A Timeless Gem in the Heart of Melbourne – The Savoy Hotel From the moment you step into The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Street, you’re wrapped in a cocoon of elegance and warmth. The building itself is a masterpiece, heritage architecture meets modern sophistication, with soaring ceilings, art deco flourishes, and a lobby that whispers old-world charm while winking at contemporary luxury. The ambience is Impeccably curated. Whether you're sipping a quiet morning coffee or winding down after a day in the city, every corner feels like a hug in velvet. Soft lighting, plush textures, and a gentle hum of city life just beyond the doors it’s cosy without being cloistered, refined without being rigid. But what truly elevates the experience is the staff. From front desk to housekeeping, every interaction is marked by genuine warmth and professionalism. They don’t just serve, they anticipate. Whether it’s a thoughtful room upgrade, a local dining tip, or a perfectly timed smile, the service is seamless and sincere. Rooms are a sanctuary: well-appointed, whisper-quiet, and designed for comfort. You’ll find yourself lingering longer than planned, wrapped in crisp linens and soft throws, with Melbourne’s skyline peeking through the windows. In short, The Savoy isn’t just a place to stay,it’s a place to feel with great location in Melbourne CBD. A perfect blend of heritage and hospitality, ideal for solo travellers, couples, or teams looking to recharge in style. PS for Concierge: Remember our secret from 23&24/Sep/25 rooms 805&1104

Great location, handy to everything you need in wonderful Melbourne City. The hotel looks fantastic. Unfortunately my room had BED BUGS and a leaking shower. The breakfast buffet was also cold. When I advised management by phone followed by email. Neither were responded to as expected. Very disappointing. I even made a follow up call (post visit) to make sure my room was in quarantine or being treated so no one else got infected. The Duty Manager of the day could not confirm that was the case. The irony was I had to listen to 5 minutes of advertising about their state of cleaning and compliance with every Covid before I could speak to the manager. The jury is out!

Location was fantastic! But we received a loft styled room - not booked as one! The tv didn’t work . They said they were full and wouldn’t/couldn’t move us. Offered us a glass of wine for the inconvenience. What a sham! And I had heard such good things. I won’t stay there again! So disappointed.

Lovely hotel nice bar in reception but opens at 4pm and doesn't stay open past 22.30. We didn't have food here but what we saw and people comments food is good. We had an issue on arrival that our fridge had an exploded can in it and everything inside was frozen solid even the milk. I asked in reception to have fridge cleaned but unfortunately had to as k again following day. Room service do not automatically clean room nor do they top up milk and shower gel. There is a very good hairdryer in the room and an iron and ironing board. Hotel is very central and opposite the train station.
