The staff, especially Adrian, the manager, have gone out of their way the past two stays myself and my partner have had to be humiliating and make it hard for us at reception. This most recent stay was an issue with my credit card and another debit card as they’re my previous married name, yet all my other cards are my maiden name. So the receptionist at the time said they weren’t going to accept this and that I won’t be getting a refund on my hotel booking. I had to show him my banking app, login, get the mobile security code to prove it’s connected with my number, and then show him my entire banking history. I understand credit card fraud, but two have two cards in my previous name with all the same addresses and to have to go into my banking history is a bit far fetched. The next morning Adrian was going to take $50 for dry cleaning out of my bill because I got some fake tan on the pillows! NEVER IN MY LIFE have I had a hotel or motel complain about fake tan rubbing off. Mind you, they all use white sheets so I can’t help that, plus, I’m sure there are far worse thing to be rubbed off on those sheets than some fake tan. Adrian also treats me and my partner like we are up to something. The stay we had a few weeks back he kept saying “we’ll be checking your room in the morning”. We got there late, literally stayed probably 10 hours then left after we had a dinner, and this stay was for my birthday weekend. He has treated us both stays like we are suss and made us very uncomfortable. They seem to not communicate well with each other as I’ve been told two different things the last two stays in regards to bond/credit card holdings.

Was in the area for a wedding and stayed at Sage for two Nights.Easy access to hotel from car park and very convenient to reach the shops. Rooms were very clean and filled with all the facilities.The front desk staff were very friendly and provided an exceptional service during our stay.Definitely recommend and would come back if we are in the area.

We wanted to explore east Melbourne for the weekend, but live far away in Geelong. We decided on the Sage Hotel and it was very convenient due to it's strategic location close to everything, especially the mall just down stairs. The staff really helpful and friendly, very easy and quick to check in. We are a family of 4, with an infant. Thanks to Oscar and Sari who helped us with extras like a cot, and to Adrian for his great service and the free room upgrade. We certainly didn't expect that. I will definitely come back and stay again next time. Very great experience, I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay somewhere close to the mall and train station.

This is a review of Sage Hotel Event Spaces (specifically the conference room). The area is quite nice and the lounge area is actually quite nice (resembles a modern library). The catering was fairly poor though; I do not recommend any of the Asian dishes (except the fried Tempura, that was alright) as part of their catering menu. Also, the conference area is on level 5 and there's only 2 lifts there so having shuffling 100+ guests out of the venue is a bit of a nightmare. The location is convenient and if you host your event after 6PM, parking at Eastland is free (opposed to limited to 3 hours)

It's officially been a week since our wedding, and we decided to spend 2x nights at Sage Hotel (Ringwood). We can't describe how much we loved our time at Sage Hotel, and it's all thanks to the fantastic staff that we had the honour of meeting! We had booked our hotel room a week before the wedding, with Sophia at the reception - she was absolutely lovely from the get-go! She helped us reserve their Executive King room, and congratulated us for our upcoming wedding! We were thrilled when we saw her again at the lobby during our stay at Sage~ she warmly greeted us and checked in to make sure we were well-looked after. She's so gorgeous and made our stay memorable
