Absolutely disgusted. There is no working aircon in the room that is held together with patches and silicon. Asked for a porta cot at check in, they said it would be in the room, when we got there, it wasn't. Asked if they could provide one and they said "housekeeping went home at 1pm". Alright, well where does my 7 month old sleep? We had to get a fan so I could cool the bedroom down enough for my 7 month old to get to sleep. The spa was scorching hot and burnt the legs of my wife. There are no towels by the pool. Missing tiles everywhere, the ladders to get in and out of the pool are all loose. I have the doors open to let in what breeze I can, but now we have all the traffic and train noise coming in. Hands down one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. $300/ night!! So much for a bloody relaxing holiday! So many of the buttons in the elevator are broken. Staff on reception was originally rude but then helped out where she could. Deadset want my money back. Completely unenjoyable. Pathetic really.

The sofa bed was broken and non-operable (the room was advertised and reserved as a one- bedroom apartment with sofa bed), the restaurant dining room and bar was closed for "holiday hours" for the entire week I stayed (not advertised or noted on the website...they only offered a buffet breakfast that closed at 10am). Despite the heat, the pool was an ice-bath. The room was very large and provided the basics, however, the dishwasher didn't work, the dryer would not dry our clothes, the bathtub was cracked across the middle and created a bubble when showering, the soap and hair dispensers contained watered-down product that was no use, the laundry door was broken, tiles were missing on the balcony, and there was water damage throughout the entire apartment (especially in the bathroom). Room turn over service was not clearly explained, although when we requested service (for example clean towels) we received them quickly. We brought everything to the attention of the receptionist and were only compensated with a $50 discount to the $150 parking bill. I paid a little over $1700 for the stay and was so disappointed.

Old building, a lot of dust, but location is nice. They also have a very backwards sop on room deposit, they actually deduct $200 from your actual bank account and it’s not refunded immediately. I have since checked out for 12 hours and I have yet to receive my deposit. They say every hotel does this, but I’ve been travelling around Australia and let me tell you which hotels do this- Mercure and Mantra (both Ms) I’m currently at Ibis, punthill they don’t do this, but take down your credit card number instead. Just a review to let others know before you decide to stay here.

Whilst the room was good the bed was a little hard for my liking. I was a bit concerned with the wire’s coming out of the walls in the corridors walking to the elevators. Also dialing 2 to get reception was a joke. I tried on 3 separate occasions and did not get any response. My husband managed to get a response once on his many attempts. We tried to have dinner at the restaurant however it was closed & I’m not sure that I ever saw it open. All in all whilst it was nice to be away from home for a little while I don’t think think that the prices that are charged are very fair.

Hi, I had to sleep on the couch for 3 nights out of my 4 nights stay at your hotel. I notified reception on 2nd day that air con is blowing very less air and not cooling, might need a filter to be cleaned as I could see the air filter in the ceiling fully clogged. On my return air con was left on on full blast with temp set to 18, but room temperature was 30 degrees as it was the hottest day of the week, as we hit the night time the weather cooled down outside but aircon was still blowing hot air, tried calling the reception but no one answered, so pulled the couch to the balcony door to sleep with balcony door open. Next morning went to reception to tell them that aircon still blowing hot air and was promised that someone will look into it, but that night was the same as previous night. When I complained again next morning to the reception and asked for a room swap, I was told that whole tower has lost air conditioning, so a portable aircon can be provided and there is no room vacant in the other tower. I ask that staff should have notified all the guests and should have provided the portable aircon without asking, I believe that is called hospitality. I had still sleep on the couch in front of the portable aircon as it could only be fitted to the balcony door, and room was still hot as portable aircon was not sufficient enough to cool the whole apartment. During checkout I asked to email the invoice but no invoice was emailed, followed up via email but I am still to receive an invoice. Shared this feedback with my employer and they are thinking of black listing this hotel from their travel policy.
