It was the second time we stayed here in the last few years. Very comfortable rooms and good service. Breakfast was very busy! Short staffed was the problem but they worked very hard. Had a few pancakes one morning that were very hard. Besides that all the other food was great. I really want to thank the staff member Sheb. He was amazing at the breakfast service. So efficient, friendly and hands on. We got talking and he said he's been there for seven years and was a postman before that. Definitely made the right career move! He is a people's person who goes above and beyond to guarantee 100% satisfaction for his customers! Thank you Sheb. I'll grab another cappuccino next time I'm in town!

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Check-in was smooth and efficient, making us feel comfortable right away. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that ensured a great night’s sleep. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect for exploring Canberra’s attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. There was a great variety of fresh and delicious options to suit everyone in the family. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm, relaxing, and family-friendly. Recently I stayed at Crowne Plaza Canberra over the long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and felt relaxing despite the hotel being exceptionally busy. The central location makes it easy to access Canberra’s key attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. I particularly enjoyed the hotel’s spaces, which create a modern atmosphere throughout the hotel. Breakfast each morning was crazy busy but excellently managed although had some wait times. What impressed me most was the team, with more than 600-800 ppl at least occupying the building during a busy long weekend, the staff remained professional, friendly, and attentive at all times. The way they managed the busy period while still delivering genuine care was truly commendable. A big thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay. I would happily return and highly recommend Crowne Plaza Canberra to anyone visiting the capital.

The rooms were spacious, tidy, and very relaxing, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also excellent—convenient and close to many attractions in Canberra. I was especially impressed by the quality of service and hospitality. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Canberra to anyone visiting Canberra for business or leisure. I would definitely stay here again!
It’s a nice hotel in a good location. We have stayed before. The service rating reflects on the management and not the staff, who really tried. Unfortunately, on this stay, the hotel was completely understaffed for the long weekend with management invisible. The hotel was overflowing with people, noise and grime. The robot vacuum missed a food spill in the middle of the corridor outside our room for at least 2 days. The communal spaces were dirty, loud, and unpleasant. It felt like the decision was made by management to stuff the hotel full of people, regardless of the impact on guests or staff, or their brand. The few staff around were doing their best, which was much appreciated. The hotel was full of families for a major dance competition which meant that many rooms housed at least four people. The breakfast queues were often very long and the breakfast buffet was completely raided within minutes. We were woken at 1.30 am Sunday morning by screaming from the corridor (which turned out to be unserious, but was nonetheless disturbing). A fire alarm was activated at one point. It was a relief not to be evacuated on a bitterly cold night. We could not wait to get out of there. We won’t be back.
