So the room was big, clean and the bed comfy. Location is good with buses nearby goung to the city. Within the first hour of check-in though, and whilst was in my room, on the toilet I might add, I had another guest enter my room and needless to say, we both got a shock. Super embarassing. Turns out reception had cut a key for the same room number I was already in. The receptionist came up to the room and was very apologetic. The day after check-out however, I called the hotel to say I had left something of rather importance in my room, to which they told me nothing had been handed into lost property. I followed up with two subsequent emails asking if they could please just check with the actual room attendant who cleaned my room. Anyway, it's been two days since and I have had zero reply. Can't say I'd stay here again.
Was pleasantly surprised by the lovely big room I got. Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. Staff were friendly. Parking was very reasonably priced although the basement parking is a bit tricky to navigate with many support poles. Very reasonably priced for a Saturday night and in a great spot.
The hotel is in an excellent position for families and friends visiting RPA Hospital. The staff were caring, compassionate and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Having access to parking was invaluable and public transport is readily available. The rooms are clean, airy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends looking to visit and will be sure to return in the future.
I was staying at the hotel for about 5 weeks and can honestly say that it was like a home from home. The food was beautiful and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The best part of all was the care and help i received from the manager his name is Sagar and went out of his way to help me. Thank you Sagar and Staff I will definitely highly recommend you to my friends. Regards to all your new friend Malcolm.
Sadly we booked with the kids as we needed a location close to the hospital. This hotel although a Ridges could not even produce an internet speed that could watch a movie on. The kids became very board and the trip changed considerably due to not being able entertain the kids in the room. Not to mention that when we checked with the front desk about the included foxtel channels we were advised ahhhhhhh yes sorry that’s a mistake in our website we don’t have foxtel you need your own but there is no internet so that could be difficult. Most probably the worst Ridges I have stayed at, and now stained the name of Rydges to make me think twice before checking into another one.
