Stayed here for three nights last week, the reception staff were wonderful whilst at location although didn't send through the recept until we asked them two times. One time being at check in, the other was a call after checkout. Other than that they were lovely. Reception smelt lovely. The room however was okay. The bathroom had an overwhelming smell of urine which made no sense as the floor was wet, assuming that was from the cleaners. The scent didn't go away until the last night after we had showered in it multiple times. Overall the general cleanliness was disappointing with the fridge being dirty and the other areas of the bathroom as well. Beds and bedroom area was clean but the pillows were lumpy. Also the curtains have black spots as do the trim around the windows which I find concerning. This was in room 212 - Don't know if any other rooms are like this. Overall would stay again if couldn't find somewhere else but would look elsewhere first.
Very disappointing experience for a 4-star hotel. Breakfast was poorly managed and extremely frustrating. The waiting time between refilling eggs, sausages, and other items was far too long, and in the end not everything was even restocked. We waited for nothing, which completely ruined the breakfast experience. On top of that, the cleaning service was unacceptable. The toilet was not properly cleaned and the beds were not well made, which is basic hygiene and comfort you expect from any hotel — especially a 4-star one. I am waiting for the hotel to reply and address these issues. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards advertised and was very disappointing.
The hotel has a good location, being only 15 minutes away from the CBD (by bus). Friendly staff, my room and the common areas were spotless. The only thing I have to complain about is the pillow, which was awful. You need to provide better pillows because this isn't a cheap hotel.
Over night stay- rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Beds are really comfortable. We ordered dinner in and was great but breakfast was quite expensive for what was on offer. Its location is quite central and convenient, staff is lovely. I thought it would be noisier consider its location but surprisingly not.
Our room was a nice size with comfortable beds. The faults were: No motel guide for the restaurant, tv usage etc, room service. Only 1 bedside light in the room. Lamp on the desk did not work. The kettle did not work. When checking out in the morning at 6am the receptionist did not know how to process the payment or how to operate the computer. A taxi had been rang by the receptionist. It arrived and had to wait while the receptionist figured out what he was doing. This cost us an extra $15 in taxi fare.
