I expected it to be bad based on reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. Stayed for one night on a Saturday in October 2024, the room was huge, everything was clean, parking was easy, the 3 staff members I spoke with were pleasant and helpful. All in all a nice stay, would definitely stay again. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the restaurant was closed, when I asked what time it opened for dinner was told it only opens Monday to Thursday for dinner which shocked me as Friday and Saturday are huge for the hospitality industry (I'm a chef), wasn't a deal breaker as they do offer room service, though very limited, I would recommend a few more items added such as drinks, main meals and fresh sandwiches. You can also order menulog and such, there is a basic kitchen in the room so you can cook and there are plenty of places to eat close by within walking distance. Spa bath was a lovely cherry on top as well and bed was very comfortable.
Friendly staff and a great location. Parking was easy although at an additional charge. Aircon barely worked, shower really needed a refurb. Fold out bed provided was extremely uncomfortable. There were no extra blankets available. So all in all, not bad but certainly not great.
This was ONCE a go-to accommodation provider for me on my many work-related trips to Parramatta,. I have not stayed there for about 5 years until last weekend, The service was terrible, my room was not serviced because "We dont supply that service on a Sunday" What a JOKE, no mention of this at check-in or when booking. The rooms and the hotel in general is showing its age and the maintenance is not up to scratch, However the cost of accommodation here continues to climb and is at the premium price point. The hallway carpets need to be replaced and are showing wear and multiple colors, the architraves have large sections of peeling paint. My room was clean however there were many broken tiles in the bathroom and the door showed signs of significant water damage. One of the lamps in the room was also damaged and a temporary (hopefully) repair had been attempted. Service at the cafe was Hopeless with staff trying to find someone who could operate a coffee machine. In general, the stay was nowhere near the standard I have come to expect from this Hotel and I will not stay there again.
Traffic noise all night. Couldn’t sleep at all. For $300+ per night, unacceptable. Consider double/triple glazing & soundproofing the rooms. Threadbare, stained carpet in the hallways. Room itself ok. Body lotion container was empty.
Huge room and very clean. We have had the best experience here and the staff can’t do enough for you. The restaurant has a good menu and the steak especially is so good. 😊. Very convenient for shopping as it is very close to a huge shopping centre. We will stay again when in Sydney for sure.
