Overall stay was good. Very good location. However, I experienced less hospitality e.g. daily room cleaning was completed with no replenishment of water bottle, amenities like tea, coffee (highlighting this because it was winter while my stay). Concierge was also not having a good gesture. I would request to focus on customer experience.
Lovely corner room with a great view. Food in executive lounge was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of food. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Cheese platter in our room was a nice touch, but we don't eat cheese, unfortunately.
Great location for Hyrox event at Olympic Park however the hotel rooms are very dated, carpet needs replacing in the room, shower surround, tile grout and shower head need replacing. Mattress was clearly well used - needs to be replaced. Sheets weren’t long enough for the bed. Breakfast very overpriced at $42 per person. Not sure what was up with the heat/air con, didn’t seem to have control of it. Obviously leaks in the hallway of level 13 as the hallway area smelt terrible. However the staff were exceptional, Sunny (concierge?) is a benefit to the company. All staff members were helpful and knowledgeable. As mentioned excellent for 1-2 nights if attending events at Olympic Park but not a good holiday base, limited transport links and it’s a long way from shopping and the airport. Room is not what I’d expect from the Pullman brand and is overpriced because of this.
We were lost on our way to an exhibition so went into the Pullman to ask directions. The guy at the front desk could not have been more helpful, looking up and then giving us clear directions. As it was raining and we didn't have umbrellas, he gave us unclaimed umbrellas that had been left at the hotel. This act of kindness made our day, as it continued to rain and thoes umbrellas made it fun to be out in rather than miserable. Can't tell you about facilities at the Pullman other than the lobby was great but I can tell you the guy at the front desk is sets a gold standard for customer service.
Enjoyed our stay at the Pullman. We found the staff at reception, the bar and in general around the hotel to be quite welcoming. I arrived around 2pm. I was given a room upgrade and access to my room before check in time. Much appreciated. Very comfortable bed, well laid out bathroom and convenient location right near concert venue. Only issues were that I could hear lift noise from my room at times so sound proofing maybe an issue. Did notice some room service dishes left near the lift on our floor for some time. A small set of fake eyelashes was found in bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable room and an enjoyable stay.
