Check-in was smooth and welcoming! The rooms were nice and the beds incredibly comfortable – definitely made for a great night's sleep, especially with the blackout curtains. The only areas I’d suggest for improvement are the stairs leading up to the lift from the car park, which could be challenging for some guests, and the bathrooms, which could use a more modern touch. Otherwise, everything was lovely and well worth it!

We had an amazing vacation at this hotel! The location is perfect — just steps away from the sea with stunning ocean views. Our room was bright, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast had great variety. A truly relaxing and memorable stay — we can’t wait to come back!

My young family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sofitel Broadbeach. The location was fantastic, easy to get to, with lots of shops, amenities and attractions nearby. A short walk to the beautiful beach for little legs! The service was exceptional, with all staff being incredibly helpful and friendly. Lots of activities for the kids, and beautiful clean rooms. Our 3 night stay was nice. Highlights were the food. The breakfast spread was delicious and dinner at the restaurant didn’t disappoint. The hotel is needing some paint and refurbishment. The central location is a definite bonus with public transport walking distance from the hotel. Lots of restaurants and cafes all walking distance from the hotel. The bed was comfortable the pillows not so much.

Was in Gold Coast for business and stayed a night at Sofitel on 15th floor, nice spot and well appointed but I was expecting a 5 star stay for the nightly rate. Couple of issues- ironing board broken! (Not great when you are trying to get ready to be in time for meeting), the rooms are not very well sound proofed-we could hear the birds screeching at 5am! (I mentioned this to reception and they said they could control the birds!- clearly are inexperienced in hospitality). Anyways it's a good spot and hope the management picks up on feedback and improves the stay.
