We had a one night stay over the weekend and the staff were absolutely lovely. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The bathroom was awkwardly laid out, with the toilet being next to the main glass door and the shower head was terrible. Beds were very comfortable and the room had decent amenities.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at this delightful Hotel. Lovely comfortable bed and rooms serviced daily , great view, and a great breakfast each morning. Full marks to the outstanding reception staff - Ahmad, Jack and Will, all of whom went out of the way to meet every request. One needs a degree at NASA to get the air-conditioning to the work, but Will and Jack took care of that for me! Ravi and Jo made us welcome each breakfast, and Pauline and Anna remembered how we had our coffee and tea, and made sure we never had to ask for anything, it just magically appeared! Housekeeping was faultless. One thing I would have liked would be hand railings in and out of the pool. "Seniors" find it hard to get out again with no rail! Two lovely female guests had to pitch in and help get my husband out of the pool, else he would still be floating around in there! Thank you Point Hotel Team! We had a wonderful stay.

Bitterly disappointed in the our room which was directly looking into close unit complex next door. We had a 9 day stay and could not open our curtains the whole stay as not only could we see right into the neighbour's apartments, they could see straight into our room. I feel that because we booked a long stay room allocation should have and could been overlooking the river and not the 200 apartments next door. The room was dark with no views with the curtains closed the ENTIRE stay. We have stayed here on a few occasions and the rooms are probably in a need of a refresh now. The restaurant staff and House maids were all very pleasant as usual. The parking can be a little tight and hard to find at times. We may have to rethink our accomodation options next year.

The Piont Hotel left us with a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating especially Summer from reception and the dining staff. One may feel the food menu is a little pricey when viewing but you won’t be disappointed as the meals are worth the price. The food was delicious, fresh and a generous quantity. The table staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. It was extremely thoughtful of management and Summer to have organised a generous Birthday gift on arrival. Thank you for the bottle of champagne, chocolates and Birthday card, it’s much appreciated. We were happy to have received a room with a veiw of the river and the balcony side was responsible. However, you may like to consider to update your outdoor furniture and provide a table and chair setting which is more user friendly especially in size, enough room to put two plates and two cups ect. We found our room to be clean and comfortable and the price we paid through last minute was reasonable. On the note we extend our thank you for a wonderful experience and as this was our second visit we are delighted to have returned. We would recommend The Piont Hotel for a Brisbane city stay at the competitive city rates they have.

Wonderful service! the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The check-in and check-out procedures were simple and easy to understand. The price was very reasonable and the quality of my room was top notch! The only drawbacks were: the shower in my room had and odd set up, the detachable head was too close to the wall, so I had to hold it in one hand at all times making showering difficult. The location was lovely, but the hotel itself was difficult to get in and out of via car. The ferry was convenient, but if you don't have a lot of experience with public transport it can be a bit confusing, so you should plan for that when you stay here. But beyond that. I had a lovely stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the service was very reliable, efficiant and friendly. All in all a good reasonably priced place to stay.
