Eagles Nest Brisbane is truly a special venue, with its breathtaking views towards the city and Story Bridge, a spectacular sight when lit up after dark. Located exclusively on the top floor, this magnificently appointed function room is a ...
The hotel room is filthy, shower covered in MOLD, a major health hazard. I made them aware of it and they didn’t even care and then asked when I’m available to allow them into the room to clean it? On my time?? Not allowed to turn aircon down below 20 degrees! Which should be illegal to restrict aircon use especially in a tropical state!! I ordered room service and they attempted to charge me before even delivering so the order was cancelled , not once but twice. Random additional amounts too not the exact amount. No body wash I had to walk down to ask for it - since the phone only works intermittently. No exhaust fan in the bathroom - extremely inconvenient, everything gets wet from condensation/steam. I even saw a giant cockroach run across the floor. The phone is broken and hardly works. And as pictured, the table was dirty on arrival just like every inch of the hotel. This hotel made me feel like I don’t deserve to be here, even after paying $232.50 per night for the most basic balcony room.
Stayed for business. Being a frequent traveller it’s the big things that make you feel at ease when working away from home. Smooth & friendly check in with thoughtful welcome gift as a first time guest. Room was clean & spotless with tea/coffee/iron available. Kudos to housekeeping best made bed I’ve ever had. Blockout curtains ensure a good nights sleep. Pool & gym well maintained. Conference facilities were fantastic & all food/beverage services delivered with a friendly smile. Highly rate this hotel. My only niggle was other guests slamming doors at 5am which the hotel can’t help. I’d suggest mgt posts a sign on the back of each door about being mindful of other guests. This made the start to my business day 3 hours earlier than I would have liked however would not stop me from returning as a guest. Great location I’d definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.
Booked to stay here after my work Christmas party. Staff were excellent. Room and location were all good. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was functional and tidy. Parking seems limited at $20 a night and you may get parked in. Disappointed that the kitchen was closed and is not in fact 24hrs (room service only) with limited options. The bar also closes rather early for a Friday night. We had also paid for a package that included drinks at the rooftop bar but was informed when we arrived and enquired that there was a function on and we were not allowed up. No further options were provided. We ended up walking across the Story Bridge to get dinner and drinks. Breakfast was good. Your typical hotel buffet. Guess we might try out Lambert's and the rooftop bar another time...
I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always a pleasant experience. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. It’s in a great location with plenty of good places to eat in walking distance. Highly recommended
I have stayed here over 50 times in the past. It has been a long time since I stayed here last and I have notice a lot of small changes based on a new fiscal model. Examples include the removal of a mini bar, removal of bath robe, removal of top tier toiletries, locked up access to laundry at night and worst of all you now have to pay for parking. My room had a great view of the city, although I could still hear the traffic from the main road. Hotel needs to pool the money saved on costs and reinvest it to update the rooms.
