Fantastic steak night! My steak was cooked to perfection, medium-rare, just the way I like it. The fresh garden salad and crispy shoestring fries were excellent, and the service was great. I highly recommend this cozy, rustic pub in Armadale, especially on a Thursday for steak night. It's great value for money and all-around wonderful experience!
Great pub with a long history. Popular among locals. We sit in their dining room, which has a cozy ambience, great for small gathering. The other side has live sports on TV. The food is amazing! We had scotch fillet and eggplant parma. Generous portions are so fresh! We had a great time and will highly recommend it.
We had a team lunch in this place. First time here, but I must say they have great service. No booking required, we are just near to the kitchen. We ordered Thursday Steak, Angus burger, Snitzel and prawn pasta. I hardly eat beef steak, but this one is great. I had medium rare steak and so juicy. I like it.
Was a pretty nice day, so went for a walk with Zip and as I do like a pub as a destination decided the Orrong was as good a place as any (it did say they were dog friendly too, so a bonus). Alas, on arrival, I found that they arent, but the bar guy allowed us when I mentioned the site said otherwise (very nice of him). We were tucked up in the corner out the way anyhoo, so no dramas. That guy was really nice, alas, the other two peeps who served me were just bar-bots - processed a service without much friendliness (guy for my beer, girl for my meal), then again working on a Sunday could sap the enjoyment for most - but still, not an excuse. The kids cheese burger was lovely (I wasnt that hungry) and the chips dang good too. A nice cold beer was also a good way to finish up and withh that, Zip and I sauntered on home. OH, it did look like a great place for locals too as it was heaving - plenty of screens to watch the footy too, so looked quite good for groups if you were that way inclined :) Zippy spam included: Zip enjoying a bike ride this time
Had lunch with my son there today. Parma, chips and salad with peppercorn gravy. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was fast and the guy behind the bar made us feel welcome. Drinks were cold. Such a lovely pub.
