Had Christmas lunch here, and was fantastic! All the staff were on point, our table had full glass the whole time, and our empty plates cleared almost immediately. I work in hospitality and had anxiety for you guys knowing how hard is it to pull off a day like Christmas lunch, but all the staff nailed it. What stood out for me was my wife had a lot of dietaries and you accommodated all of them when you simply could have said it’s buffet pick out what you can, I really thank you for that. Also the personalised presents for the kids was a beautiful touch. Our whole table had a great time and we are all raving about it to everyone we know. So thank you for the great day!
Very cool rooms. Dessert in the lobby restaurant was unbelievable. I LOVED my jetted tub and view from the balcony. Happy hour had some glitches, they must be trying out a new menu. Great location and convenient parking
Very good spacious room. bed was comfortable best nice sleep for a long time. All the rooms have balcony overlooking the garden and the pond relaxing atmosphere in the night in the balcony.Staff at reception and bar excellent and friendly.
I recently stayed (3rd of December was my checkout)at amora hotel river walk and while most aspects of my stay were satisfactory, I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of the reception staff members, Michael. When I went to collect a package, I was met with disrespectful behavior that left me feeling unwelcome. His tone was dismissive and unprofessional, which is not what one would expect at an establishment that prides itself on hospitality. And he even falsely accused me for having pershible items . When I spoke to the duty manger on checkout he was laughing at me as if it was a joke to him raising this concern. What was even more disheartening was the apparent discriminatory attitude displayed. As an individual of Asian descent, I couldn’t help but feel that my ethnicity influenced the way I was treated. Such behavior is unacceptable in any setting, let alone in the hospitality industry, which should promote inclusivity and respect. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and provides the necessary training to ensure all guests are treated with the respect they deserve, regardless of their background
We usually stay at this hotel when visiting Melbourne, as it’s fairly close to family and friends, and offers good rates. Comfortable rooms and beds, parking on site if needed, just next to a tram line to the city. Very convenient location. Friendly staff!
