I booked the executive suite, Room 01, to comfortably accommodate three adults, it did this but came at a price that exceeded the condition of the room. The suite consisted of a queen room and two single beds in the lounge area. On walking up the hallway my heart started to sink noticing the worn carpet and food odours, on opening the room door we were met with broken blinds, one completely missing, the door into the queen room had been removed and to make matters worse the opening was adjacent to the bathroom so no privacy at all. The televisions in the rooms were completely outdated so you could not connect anything to them if you wanted to, no chromecast etc, etc. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture.
Extremely friendly staff and also helpful and understanding. My first room wasn’t nice as it looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in a while but got upgraded and that room was 10x better. Front desk staff were very helpful and sorry about the situation. Definitely recommend for a quick stay in the city.
We paid $355 for one night and our hotel room looked like a dirty brothel. Our sheets looked like they had been slept in and had hard stuff on them, it appeared to be dried glue and blacks marks at bottom of sheets. It is INCREDIBLY run down. Our room looked nothing like the pictures from the website. Shower tap handles falling off, old down light falling out of ceiling, dirty sheets, scuffed walls, cracked bathroom tiles. It’s appearance was that of a rough European back packers joint. I took lots of photo’s. Do not even bother staying here (especially if you get the sort of room we got). Unfortunately we got in a 2.30am because we were at the Children’s ICU across the road at Royal Melbourne children’s hospital and needed to get on the road by 6am. So we slept on top of sheets fully clothed and didn’t have the energy to complain and kick up a stink. The price was outrageous for the quality of the accomodation, daylight robbery. Save your money and stay across the road at the Larwill studio (at the hospital) and book ahead!.
Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Lots of patched walls, the lift sounded like it was going to fall apart, the staff were ok. Tried to get a coffee on Sunday morning at the Cafe there, it was a chore for the staff member, cost $14.95 plus 15% because it was a sunday for two coffees. Parking was good. 6 out of 10
It's alright for the price. I came here with my SO for an event. The event was beautiful! ✨ The bar staff were very nice & polite! 😊 Here are a few things that could've been improved: 1) The bar closed very early for the event. 2) The front desk staff were not particularly attentive. 3) The accessibility room shower area was very small, so our clothes and other things in the bathroom would get wet while we showered. 4) The carpark wasn't particularly wheelchair accessible.
