I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years and to be quite honest when I first arrived here I was not that impressed, it’s rough around the edges to say the least. However, I’ve stayed multiple times and I’ve grown to love this hotel very much. The thing that makes this hotel special are the staff that work hard to ensure you have a good time, that’s all the staff, not just the front of house but the staff that clean the rooms and cook the food too. We usually stay in a club room as we enjoy the afternoon tea and cocktail hour. It also gives us the chance to meet the staff we’ve met before. Special mention to Roxy, Cedric and Xandra. Thank you! The pools are huge, the rooms are a bit dated but nice. If you’re lucky Kangaroos might hop past while you’re sipping your Pina Colada! Stay in the week and you’ll have it all to yourself. Don’t judge a book by its cover and you’ll have a super time! Cheers to my favourite hotel group IHG.

Such a wonderful stay at this peaceful secluded oasis on the Gold Coast. Part of its beauty is how quiet it is, where you hear the melodic tunes of the birds every morning, watch the local kangaroos hop about and chill by the terrace or lagoon beach pool As club members we were treated to lovely breakfast, afternoon tea and drinks + canapés every day - no need to go elsewhere to wine + dine 🍷 Standout hospitality and service - a very special shout out to Roxy who looked after us so well! It really was the most relaxing holiday break and one that we hope to repeat many times in the future 🩷

A nice hotel in a very pretty location and a number of great eating and shopping options nearby at the marina. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are nice but a bit dated now and the air conditioning was very noisy and also really struggled to bring the in-room temperature down enough (was set to 22 but I’d estimate it never got below 26-28 in there) and so sleeping was a bit sticky and muggy. Otherwise, great venue.

We had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and truly enjoyed our time there. The resort is in a fantastic location, with the marina just a short walk away and plenty of great dining options close by. The rooms were very clean and beautifully maintained, and housekeeping was consistently excellent — we especially appreciated returning each day to fresh bottles of water waiting for us. A special mention goes to Veronica at the Cove Café, who seated us for breakfast most mornings. She was always friendly, welcoming, and smiling, and genuinely made our mornings brighter. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out. The only minor issue during our stay was that some of the dishes at the buffet and occasionally with room service were not always 100% clean. This didn’t detract significantly from our overall experience, but it’s something that could be improved. Overall, the resort was immaculate, relaxing, and perfectly located, with staff who clearly care about their guests. We would happily return.

Club lounge was amazing. So worth it - very filling high tea and evening snacks + drinks/cocktails. Bombay and Sandra looked after us so well. Loved the breakfast choices. Really nice swimming area! Kids enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!
