From the moment we arrived, the team’s warm welcome and attention to detail set a perfect tone. The Executive Suite was a fantastic upgrade—immaculately clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making it ideal for my family. Our kids had a wonderful time and felt right at home, which made the experience even more enjoyable for all of us. 2 night stay. Had two separate bookings but welcome drink only loaded onto one. Had an accessible room. Had a shower chair but no rails for support. No place to hang towels. Breakfast always good. No wine as welcome gift. No hand motion in room

The stay was quite good, after being confused slightly by getting to the hotel because of the new light rail works, the check in process was quite good, even allowing us to our room whilst reception handled some checking in processes that were going to take a while. We didn't ask for much whilst we stayed there, but what we did ask for was never an issue and was promptly handled. The room was adequate and well furnished, we stayed on floor 7 and didn't hear any city noises at night. The only thing to fault in the room was our wardrobe doors were not working properly and would stay open, sitting in the middle of the runners, and there were no extra blankets in the room, otherwise fine. The hotel will be exceptionally well located in the future when the light rail opens for use, the stop is within 30 seconds walk from the front door, the light rail will take you to many places and you will be able to swap at Parramatta train station for all other connections. Close to Church street cafe's and restaurants, so plenty of options for food and enjoying dinner out. Overall quite a good experience.

Rooms were decent. The wardrobe was a good hiding place. Beds were easy to move. Pool was nice and cold. Bathroom was a bit grotty, shower head popped off and wasn’t fixed. Windows hard to open. However it had a buffet, beds were comfy. There was mini fridge. Good stay.

We had a very unwelcoming experience from checkin to checkout. While the staff were professional they lacked customer service. When we approached to check in, we were bounced across three different staff to complete the checkin. The final staff said there was nothing more needed from what the 1st staff completed, leads me to believe that some staff are under trained. While I understand that the carpark is open to guests no staying at the hotel such as those attending conferences etc, I was surprised to see that they charge in house guests for parking when it is their own building. (I have only paid for parking at accor hotels where the car park is not in the same building or owned by a third party operator). The room we booked sufficiently accommodated 4 guests and the beds were comfortable, that's about it for the positives. The room was very poorly lit, no lights in the ceilings, just a single wall light at the entrance and a single reading light near the beds. The bathroom was clean but worn out. Surprisingly the water pressure was good. There were eco friendly reminders everywhere and there was no toiletries such as lotion, shower cap etc, only the regular hand/ body wash, shampoo/ conditioner bolted to the wall. Another eco initiative was a reusable glass bottle for the room which I definitely support but soon realised that there was only one refill station for all 12 floors and was located on the ground floor lobby area and had a lot of foot traffic with other guests checking in/ heading out. At least put a refill station on every floor. The phone was out of order so even if we wanted to follow their instructions to call reception for additional toiletries, we couldn't. The thermostat was also malfunctioning. We could not set it to our desired temperature and when we turned off the cooling before bedtime, it turned back on overnight at the coldest temperature. The walls of the room are paper thin in terms of noise. If you are a young family with kids, or a light sleeper, you will struggle to get a good night's sleep. For ev car owners, if you are parking, you still need to pay for charging. There are tesla destination chargers installed but the lighting is quiet poor around the chargers to scan the qr code to initiate charging. This really felt like double dipping to me, most resorts and hotels I stay at don't charge for ev charging in their car parks. Everything felt like a money grab during our stay. There is a very thin line between eco friendly and poor guest service and unfortunately Novotel Parramatta is on the wrong side of the line. Based on the low amount of staff present there were long waits at reception and the bar. I definitely do not thing this hotel is more than a 3 star hotel.
