This is supposed to be classed as a 4 star hotel, if that’s what you want don’t go here! Thread bare carpets, scratches on furniture, seats at reception very shabby, only one towel per guest, no room service one of the days, staff not welcoming or eager to help, think they need some training in customer service. Water provided at entrance but sometimes no clean glasses or glasses were hot. Nothing in our mini bar apart from a carton of cream and we were asked what we’d used from the mini bar. On the plus side the hotel was well located. This is the first time we have visited Australia and it was supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime but this hotel was very disappointing and I would not recommend it

They told us that would ring us when our room was ready 5 days later still waiting they told us the pool was on level 9 just go up the stairs but when we went up there it wasn’t,open no sign saying it was closed so back down to reception only to be told due to the rain (but we could use the other vibe hotel pool 3 streets away maybe it didn’t rain down there )it wasn’t open but it would be opened the next day. as we had small kids it was the only reason we booked and guess what it wasn’t opened the next day either the only reason we booked a hotel was due to a pool The service was really poor and don’t get me started on the restaurant so no I won’t be going back

Recommended in the New York Times 36 hours. The location was walkable to Chinatown, Hyde Park, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. I stayed 5 nights and had a corner room that was spacious and well worn. The pool and rooftop was closed and locked my entire stay which was extremely disappointing. There is no sauna as the sign says. I did see a large creepy crawly bug in my room as well. Maybe 36 hours is the Goldie locks amount of time to be there

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not stay here. Staff are horrible. Breakfast is absolutely pitiful. Pool not open, no communication regarding this. Left room for 8 hours and hung the “please make up my room” sign on the door only to come back and room is not made up, no fresh towels, no rubbish emptied. Staff can’t be bothered fixing the issues. Absolutely terrible for a holiday.

Very tired and not great value for money. The location is great, but the hotel is very tired and seemingly short staffed. Room was dirty, with broken light switches, flickering light bulbs and right next to a construction site that started work just in time to wake us all up. No shower gel or conditioner in the bottles. Told that maintenance don’t work on weekends to fix the lights… Pool was closed, sauna was locked… breakfast was also not great, with empty juice and food containers, and no cutlery on the tables (or available to help yourself to)…. Overall not a great experience compared to other Vibe hotels Looking forward to reading the AI / ChatGPT generated response from the hotel 😂
