Hi team, I last stayed at your hotel a couple of years ago before the extensive renovations were completed. The hotel has been restored beautifully. Very nice atmosphere, Club Sofitel very comfortable now, private check in appreciated. Request for room upgrade if available, early check in and late check out was able to be accommodated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Well done to the entire team on your grand opening weekend.

Terribly slow checking and check out. The breakfast was super busy and more like an airport lounge, not at all relaxing. You sit in one room and have to move between rooms and the lift area to another room to have breakfast. The food selection was fine, could have been kept warmer. The coffees at breakfast were good. The rooms were nice, reasonable size but not worth the expensive coast for the experience.

I would definitely stay here again, it's central to most things I wanted to do/see and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Only two things prevented full marks, 1. Pillows were too soft and 2. The chromecast never worked in my room despite it being replaced/reset a few times.

Recently renovated looking very good. The only issue I had was there was no clear check-in area it was a distance away near the lifts with only one person. Also had no answer when trying to make contact via the room telephone. Otherwise staff were very friendly. First day servicing breakfast which was well looked after. Very good stay generally. Thank you

I stayed at the hotel for my birthday weekend and had paid to upgrade to a club room. The week before the stay I was offered an upgrade to a suite, for a fee which I had agreed upon. On the morning of our stay I was called and informed the suite was no longer available and was offered complimentary club access (which I had already paid for) When we arrived at the hotel, the beautiful foyer was no more. In it's place a restaurant, with the check in facilities off to the side. Self check-in desks were very prominent and we were pushed to use it. While the staff were friendly enough, check-in was jarring. We stayed in a club room on the top floor. The finishes in the bathroom were pretty average, with the door to the bathroom resting against the toilet when open and the flusher not mounted centrally over the hole that was cut in the tile behind it. The new layout in the club lounge was a bit off. Aside from that the hot breakfast food in the lounge was dead cold. After checkout, I was not sent the invoice for the stay like always with any Accor hotel, aside from that I was overcharged by $70. When going back through my account, I discovered this and saw no refund. When I enquired, I was told the difference had been refunded earlier in the week. And I found it on a different card to what I paid with. No communication was made to me before the refund was made. No communication was made that there had been an error and I was getting a partial credit. It was just quietly slipped back onto a different card. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt and will normally leave a high score regardless, but in this case the Wentworth I once knew no longer exists and what it is now fell far behind my usual experience there.
