I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional service provided by 'JINA' during our stay. She truly made our visit to Sydney unforgettable. From the very beginning, Jina went above and beyond by introducing us to Sydney attractions in a way that perfectly matched our interests and travel style. She also helped us seamlessly manage our two separate reservations, ensuring that our stay felt smooth and uninterrupted — something we appreciated more than words can describe. Every day, whenever we passed by the lobby, Jina greeted us with genuine warmth. She remembered where we had visited, offered helpful feedback and new suggestions, and made us feel completely at home. Her thoughtful conversations became one of the highlights of our trip. Most of all, we were deeply touched that she celebrated our wedding anniversary with us and even surprised us with a bottle of wine. This thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and turned a good trip into a truly memorable one. Thanks to Jina, we left the hotel with wonderful memories and sincere gratitude. Her professionalism, kindness, and genuine care are truly rare. Because of her, I’ve already told my friends that whenever they visit Sydney, Sofitel Sydney Wentworth should be their first choice — without question. 'JINA' is an outstanding professional, and we sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves.

We enjoyed a wonderful overnight here!! From the very warm welcome upon checking in and being upgraded to a lovely comfortable, and spacious room. It was only a short walk to the harbour and such a beautiful afternoon were able to enjoy leisurely strolling around. The breakfast buffet was delicious and extensive. All staff were friendly and accommodating. We look forward to returning very soon.

I have to say I was a bit skeptical to stay here based on some of the reviews and ratings which weren’t wholly exemplary. When I arrived, I was a bit underwhelmed with the check-in as he wasn’t very warm and was not very thorough explaining the amenities. There also is no on-site gym or spa. My room the first night was a standard twin and it did seem a bit tired, small and the heating was not functioning properly. After this first night though everything changed dramatically thanks to the managers Heather and Cassia. I was upgraded to a superior room, which was absolutely beautiful. I discovered that we have free access to one of the most amazing state of the art gyms I’ve ever been to which is just a one minute walk out the door. And then I discovered the fifth floor restaurants, which are really spectacular and quite lovely with an atrium bar just outside. Then I learned a bit about the history of this hotel and the various people that have stayed here and I started to slowly appreciate the beautiful and classic aesthetic. They really have done an amazing remodel and it is quite beautiful with small touches everywhere if you know where to look. The location really can’t be beat. It can feel a bit overwhelmed by businessmen and women in the evening as I am a tourist, but if you’re doubting to stay here, I would say absolutely do it, just do not stay in the standard room. You must upgrade to the superior room and then you’ll have a five star experience. Thank you again to Heather and Cassia! I absolutely would stay here again in a heartbeat. It’s wonderful and I’m sad to leave after four nights.

I had an amazing stay at Sofitel Wentworth. I was staying for a conference held at the hotel. Great facilities, and the food was outstanding. The happy hours were also great! The brand-new amazing gym and wellness centre was absolutely incredible and well used by me! The only very small downside was one staff's attitude at bar tilda, but that was very minor!

We had an excellent stay! The hotel is perfectly located for anyone wanting to be right in the city. Both my husband and I were really impressed by the warm and professional customer service, as well as the overall quality of the facilities. Although the hotel isn’t new, it’s beautifully maintained and has a strong focus on quality — both the F&B and housekeeping teams did an amazing job. The bed was extremely comfortable too! It was only a one-night stay for us, but definitely enough to make us want to return in the future, even though we hold a higher-tier membership with another hotel group. Of course, as long as the price is right 😉 Highly recommended!
