For the price, this was an extremely average experience. Reception asked for a large payment despite room being paid for, and said if it was not refunded within 3 business days to follow up with them. Hallways and lifts a bit dated. Received a room with two single beds despite asking for a queen/double. All of this would be okay for a cheaper price, as the location is quite good, but just felt like paying 4 star price for a 3 star experience.

I've stayed a few times at the Mantra, and although it's dated and probably seen better days, it's a 3 star you can rely on. The location is great and has on-site parking. The rooms are OK, our sheets and towels were clean. Although microwave in the kitchenette was stinky. The towels also quite small. Our shower probably needed a good scrub, there was soap scum on the glass door, but the bathroom was overall clean. We stayed in an Executive Spa and the room was spacious. Staff were a bit hit and miss, some were friendly, while others avoided our gaze. If you need a place to stay and don't expect a lot, then Mantra is a great hotel. Location is excellent. Very close to Westfields and the station.

Absolutely disgusting service, toilet was not working or flushing, shower wasn't working and just had scolding hot water during my one night stay. Had to call relatives to come and pick me up to take me to their house to go to the restroom and shower. Called reception to fix items and never did, also house keeping entered my room whilst not dressed an hour before check in and no apology. No assistance, and disgusting customer service after request a full refund. I will be escalating this matter immediately and taking this further. No accountability and no ownership of the issues.

NEVER BOOK HERE!!!! they were very unaccommodating!! rudeee!!! and let young females sleep out on a street for a simple mistake as leaving a key in the room when they had a spare the whole time… although we did book through another company we had the owners of the apartment willing to talk to reception over the phone to let us in the room and they wouldn’t allow it!!! NEVER BOOK HERE worst experience ever and very unprofessional definitely worth spending a little more money and staying at a way more professional hotel!!!

We had a great long weekend stay at Mantra Parramatta! Rather than staying in the city we opted for Paramatta for better value and to be right on the doorstep of the Westfield, Paramatta Station and Church St. The hotel itself was more than ample for this short stay with a large comfy bed, small kitchenette, large flat screen TV, bathroom fitted out with pump bottles of local shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The room itself was clean and well maintained. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Yes, the carpet in the hallway was quite worn, yes, the restaurant was closed for dinner (although I believe it's reopening in February 24) and yes, there wasn't any room service or servicing however for the price it represented excellent value. Being only 30mins from the city with all the facilities around this hotel it'll definitely be on the list for us to return to in the future 🏨🛌🛋😀
