Stayed in 1 of their recently renovated rooms. Extremely comfortable & spacious. Very helpful & professional staff. Excellent. Reason for the 4 stars is for their gym facility. If it only had 1 multi-station equipment or just a simple rack of weights and a bench instead of multiple rowing, bike and treadmill machines. Thanks guys.

My husband & I stayed at Rydes for the first time on our return trip from Sydney to the far North Coast. Well! I have only good things to say about our experience. I was met at the front desk by Nicole, super welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. She made me feel comfortable right from the word go. The room had beautiful water views, was spacious & comfortable, had a welcoming balcony with a view of the River and stunning pool. The king bed was very comfortable, and the whole room was extremely clean & fresh. I had a complimentary welcome drink at the bar, followed by an excellent meal from room service, which we enjoyed at our cosy table for two, overlooking the river. We enjoyed a late check out, which allowed us to take a beautiful morning swim in the clean, well cared for swimming pool. What more can I say, except, that we will be back.

So good to celebrate an anniversary with a few days at the beautiful Rydges Port Macquarie. Highly recommend this stunning place. Modern and beautiful room, fantastic views, wonderful accommodating staff and yummy food. Ate quite a few meals at Zebu Bar And Grill (2 mains [pork belly and tomato salsa pasta] and 2 buffet breakfasts) and the food was completely delicious every time. The staff were so accommodating in regards to wheelchair access for me also. Real soul refreshing time. My compliments to the exemplary staff.

Got the king deluxe room with a view, from the check in moment it was good we were greeted by the lady booked us in who was very helpful with the area and what to do, if you see this thanks heaps!. We had to come twice to reception and spoke to a curly red-haired lady who seemed to not want to be there as we asked about staying in the pool with the kids after we check out to what she said yes but not too long so we thought wtf but whatever. Check out came we checked out with unfortunately the same lady who gave us the pool key but said you can stay but not too long ( we just said wtf and kept going). We then came out and got food from the fish and chips place next door which btw it was really good a must try, we came back in for this lady to tell us we need to be out by 2 pm and can't bring food in, which we couldn't see any signs saying that. We have literally spent at least 2 K for 2 rooms and. 2 nights and you are literally crying for an extra hour or 2 by the pool and some fish and chips?!!!! Unfortunately the last experience always stays and Rydges you need to work on your customer service with some member, except for the lady who booked us in and the cleaning lady they deserve a pay rise!.

This is the best hotel around. Not only is the location & view perfect, the hotel, bar & restaurants has a unique vibe. The newly renovated rooms are just lovely and the food is amazing. Been visiting this hotel for some years now and the staff in all outlets have always been polite, professional and service orientated. Jacky from conference services went above and beyond to make my stay a good one and Nicole on the front desk goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. They are both professionals and an asset to the hotel. I always look forward to my next stay.
