Very solid accommodations and friendly service. We were greeted upon arrival and our luggage was taken and tagged. Quick service at the desk and was offered a room despite being before official check in time (very much appreciated after such a long travel day). The location is excellent with its close proximity to both train and light rail offerings. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Stayed in this hotel for a week. The staff are nice and overall service is okay. The location is what makes this property worth considering though and there is a nice view towards the park. I stayed in one of the suites and unfortunately my room was rather dated. The paint from the windows was coming off and it even leaked water inside when it was raining. Hope they can maintain their building a bit better. Would probably consider staying again just due to the location and if they improve the room quality.

I spent 7 nights here. This was by far the best Sheraton I’ve been to. The staff are all very well-trained and helpful. The service is top notch. Rooms are modern and sparkling clean. Descent gym and indoor rooftop pool. Amazing food at the Club Lounge. Location is prime. I couldn’t recommend it any further.

I hadn't stayed at this hotel for a couple of years, so was interested to see if it was still. a great experience, which it was. The check-in was efficient and friendly and I got to my room quickly. The room was large and well appointed with a large TV, comfy bed and space to work. The gym was small, but well stocked and the room service fast and friendly. The location was perfect for access to the city or Surry Hills.

The staff at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Hyde Park are exceptional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Upon my request, they promptly facilitated a room change due to my preference for a different window setting and even upgraded me to the club floor. On the day of my tour, which began before the breakfast restaurant opened, they graciously prepared a breakfast box for me. The room itself was comfortable and offered a stunning view of Hyde Park. It was impeccably cleaned and maintained throughout my stay. Breakfast at the hotel was of excellent quality, with a wide variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the egg station with various cheeses, the fresh juice maker, and the daily availability of fresh avocado and papaya. However, the temperature in the breakfast restaurant was notably cold, with a persistent draft from ceiling openings. Although the staff tried to accommodate me with a warmer table, the only suitable area near the window was often unavailable. One significant drawback was the spa's limited availability for treatments on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this caliber. As a result, I was unable to book multiple treatments during my stay. Additionally, the steam room was out of order for the entire duration of my visit. These issues were disappointing and prevented me from giving the hotel a full five-star rating.
