I recently stayed at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. The location is excellent, very central, and convenient for exploring the city. The lounge has a great view, and I would recommend it—special thanks to Akash and Sharnae, who assisted me during check-in. However, the reception staff overall were disappointing. As an Ambassador member, the treatment I received was not up to standard. Other guests were also visibly frustrated during check-in, and I was assigned a particularly poor room (#0511). Luckily, I was only staying one night, so it wasn’t a major issue, but this clearly reflects a problem with staff handling and room assignments. Overall, while the location and lounge are great, the reception staff experience needs significant improvement, especially for Ambassador members.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right in front of Hyde Park, making it very convenient for exploring Sydney. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with complete facilities and amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff are attentive and responsive, always ready to assist guests. The breakfast experience at the restaurant is outstanding, with a wide selection of dishes and delicious flavors. Additionally, the club lounge on the upper floor offers a delightful atmosphere, especially during happy hour and evening cocktails, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort, hospitality, and a prime location in Sydney.

Great central location to go to shopping and other activities ie Hyde Park and museum. This is our 2nd time at the Seafood buffet with our young children. Parking included when we dined there, it’s a must for us. Perfect place to take the kids. Kids under 3 eat free. Very accommodating for our party of 6 - we needed a table with space for our pram. Lots of carpeted areas for the kids to run away within the hotel.

The Sheraton exceeded my expectations. Service was great from the start, as I arrived before my room was ready and they offered me to use the shower in the gym/spa. Laundry service is great as it is same-day. I also requested a couple of ice packs that were promptly delivered. The restaurant is super good. Breakfast buffet has tons of options and dinner has an excelent menu. I recommend the gnocchi.

Definitely a 5-star hotel! The rooms could use a bit of refurbishment, but since they’re very spacious, that’s easy to overlook. The breakfast is amazing — truly one of the highlights. The location is perfect, right across from Hyde Park in the heart of the city. You can easily walk everywhere, and all the luxury shops are nearby. Definitely a recommended place to stay!
