Couldn't figure out where to get my coffee of the morning. My welcome drink was useless. Only house wine on offer. No spirits. Rooms were a good size. Fun lighting to play with. Bathroom was spacious and nicely done. Good value for money. Although not many room amenities provided.

Very bad hotel. Charge my card twice and then deny it even though I showed the evidence from my bank statement. Some staff acknowledge it by giving me printed email of their ‘cancellation’ on the second charge of around A$ 2400. Until I write this review no single amount yet to be returned to my bank account. In addition to this horrible charging of my card their staff the honorable ‘Duty Manager’ named Eva really insist that they don’t make any mistake. She put a smirk as if we are the one who made the mistake. Eva even entertain me in a lengthy debate in the hotel lobby. No hospitality at all. I wonder how this hotel earn 4 stars with staff like her, stained carpet, crowded lobby, small pool and hotel gym that barely have anything on it. Concierge almost non-existent, no help for luggage during check in or check out. Room also too simple. Avoid yourself being dissapointed and humiliated in this hotel

Room was nice and spacious . But the towel had hair on them when we came into the room and the mini fridge was not cleared out, it still had stuff from previous occupants. And when we came to the reception for some issue - we went to the priority lane as we had Accor membership, yet we were not given preference over non member folks. Breakfast had limited vegetarian options . The danish pastries were under cooked.

What a great hotel stay. Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Facilities and interactions with staff were excellent. The room was modern, spacious, and comfortable. While the city-facing rooms have direct sunlight the blackout blinds were some of the best I've come across and made it easy to reduce the heat and also the light overnight. Slept very easily. The only area that let down this hotel stay was the breakfast area and not the quality or variety of food, both of which were excellent, it was just that food kept running out and both coffee machines weren't working. Lastly it would've also been nicer to be shown to a table versus told to find one. I would recommend this hotel for its service, location (so close to Central and George St), facilities and local food options. I've already got several future stays booked.

Check in was quick and easy. We arrived early 10am knowing we could check in till 3pm. We were informed if we paid $40 we could check in early. We opted to pay the amount for convenience travelling with two tired kids. I didn't think this was unreasonable. The room was what I expected. It was clean and served it's purpose for our two night stay. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it had a huge variety of food. We also dined at Eve's Bar and the food was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the cleanliness of the pool. It's was so cloudy. I told my kid not to put their head underwater to avoid ear infections. The floor in the pool area was also slimy and could use a good clean. Other than that it was pleasant stay and I would stay here again.
