Great service upon arrival. Spacious room. Very clean and tidy. Pool and Gym area was amazing (with extra towels supplied at the pool). Housekeeping were exceptional. Only thing i would have liked the bottled water (stated but not in the room) and the bar fridge needs upgrading (old yellow looking and freezer was very frozen over). The pull out sofa was very comfortable for the grand daughter. Restaurant was great, fast and very affordable. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel was perfectly placed for walking into the city and down to Darling Harbour. The room was clean and sufficient for our needs. We had breakfast one morning, which was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only gripe would be that the lifts take a long time to arrive when you call them.
All staff were very nice and helpful. Location was quite good. Right on multiple bus lines, short walk to Central Station and light rail. The room seemed quite small with the decent amount of luggage we had, but you get that. Beds were very comfortable. The lifts were very busy at checkout time and sometimes we waited 15-20 minutes and one or two came, but they were already full. Also breakfast got very busy later in the morning, but it did say this pretty clearly at the reception desks. And we always were able to get a table no problems. Overall a nice place to stay. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Have stayed here many times! Staff are always helpful and kind. Rooms always clean, large and comfy. The location is top notch! Right near central and a short walk to buses, Chinatown, light rail. So many little bars and things around also.
I recently stayed at the Mercure Sydney to celebrate Lunar New Year. Location wise was close and walkable to Chinatown. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff member who assisted me was professional, friendly, and made me feel welcome, which set a positive tone for the stay. The room was exactly as pictured—clean, modern, and felt quite new. I was impressed by the overall standard of the room, and it met all of my expectations. I had asked for two extra pillows and if they had firm ones available. I was pleased with how quickly they were delivered, and the pillows were firm and supportive, which made for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. One small thing I found unusual was the LED light in the room, as it didn’t seem to match the overall vibe of the room, but that’s a minor observation. During my stay, I also had the opportunity to use the pool and sauna. The pool area, while a good size, could benefit from some refurbishment. The indoor, elevated setting is a unique feature, but the overall condition of the space seemed a bit dated, which affected the experience. I believe an update to this area could really enhance the guest experience. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider staying again in the future.
