I recently stayed at Mercure Sydney and had a great experience. The location is super convenient, close to Central Station and plenty of restaurants and shops. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with everything I needed. Breakfast was really nice, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel across the street from Central Station. In fact, you don't even need to cross the street as there is an underground walkway entrance,just outside the hotel entrance on railway Square . The hotel feels modern and clean. My room was an OK size for one person. The AC worked well and the bathroom was big with shower only. The biggest issue I had with the room was lack of storage. Breakfast was good but not alot of change from day to day. Breakfast starts at 7:00AM and by about 8:00AM there was often a queue to get in. There is a convenience store on the main floor, but it sells mostly snacks and not much in the way of toiletries. Eve's bar on the main floor has great food, and prices are reasonable for a hotel bar. If you want a nice, reasonably priced hotel near Central station, then the Mercure is a great option.

Everything is within walking distance literally - and I meant the transport options! Room is spacious, concierge is friendly. We were unfortunately down with food poisoning so we requested for a late check out and was granted with kindness. A downside for this hotel was that they didn't provide drinking water.

Extremely small room to accommodate a family of 4 and a suitcase for 4 nights. No mini bar, no vanity kit, no robes or slippers. Only one spare pillow between 4 guests. Lack of ventilation or fresh air in the rooms. The Indoor pool was cold. On a positive note, the staff, location and breakfast were great.

My sister and I stayed for 2 nights on the 14th floor. The stay included breakfast. We were very happy with the service all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable and breakfast was lovely with lots of options. We also ate at both restaurants and the service and food was delicious. Highly recommend.
