Just had own of the seriously best rump steaks of my life ( and I am a 67 year whingy old woman). Cooked to perfection, sauce was delicious, generous salad. The staff are just delightful- cudos to the lovely lady behind the bar, Bethany, treated me like the most important customer she has ever had. Wine is delicious! Heritage listed pub retaining the beautiful 18th century features. Love love love. Hard to find a superb pub these days. English hospitality and cuisine at its best!

We can't thank Emma and the team enough for their efforts in hosting our wedding reception in the Leichhardt Room at the Alliance Hotel! We were a little apprehensive when the management changed 4 months before our big day, but everything turned out swimmingly. Emma was on top of it from the get go, and was incredibly supportive, communicative, helpful and flexible during the planning phase and even went to great lengths to ensure we had the right combination of tables to fit all our guests. We had a few minor issues when drinks and food selections were changed last minute by the venue but I would put that down to them working out the kinks of new management. Their function packages are also very reasonably priced. The event went off without a hitch thanks to the incredibly professional and approachable team who were entremely attentive and allowed everyone to have an unbelievably good time. Many guests commented on the amazing service. The food was immaculate, the plating was beautiful and served in a timely fashion. We got so much positive feedback from our guests about enjoying the food. The venue itself is stunning with exposed red brick walls and was the perfect space and atmosphere for our wedding reception. Thank you again to the whole team! Highly recommend!

A quite but inviting venue that leans to.old world charm. A front bar and a more formal eats out back. Bar service were lovely and up for a chat and made great gin suggestions. The meals pricey and only two vegetarian mains. The servings were ration size but tasty. Would return for a tipple and a bowl of wedges.

We hosted a private event in the Leichhardt room upstairs. The room has beautiful, natural light and a welcoming feel. The staff were so attentive and went above and beyond for our guests. The food was delicious (you must try the chips and wedges). The service we received was so personal and attentive. I would host an event here again and again. It is also the best local hotel anyone could ever ask for!

I can’t say enough good things about the food at The Alliance Hotel! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. The menu has a great variety — from classic pub favourites to more refined options — and everything was beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the dining area was cozy yet lively, with a great local vibe. You can tell this place takes pride in both its food and its service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, a meal at The Alliance Hotel is an absolute must. We’ll definitely be back for more
