We had a fantastic stay here. Level 19 and a nice view. I hope the elevator to the basement where parking is gets fixed asap, it is really needed. However, everything else was great, we have no complaints. Enjoyed the pool, AC kept us nice and cool on some of the hottest days of the year. We got double beds room, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean.

WARNING You will be charged $30 a day for parking. There was no warning or signs to tell you. We got charged $90 for parking that had NO lifts. My husband has had 3 knee operations and to go to our car, we had to go to level 1 then walk up 2 &1/2 flights to access our car. NOT FAIR !!! Lifts are the slowest and our toilet was leaking. When we emailed our concerns the reply was the staff is always enduring to ensure the guest's comfort. Put up parking costs at the front desk!!! When I finished my review, I looked at other reviews and responses. As someone who has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years - I can offer some helpful advice. To Ujen it seems you have a lot of meetings with relevant managers maybe ensure there is an action plan to ensure the constant complaints are rectified and maybe some customer service training will help negative opinions that guests seem to be writing. Tell them to keep away from watching repeats of Fawlty Towers. Stamford international must be so proud of its Adelaide site.

My partner and I stayed here and there were more negative experiences than positive. We had paid for parking as an inclusion of our room yet we still had to be redirected to an external parking provider then walk down with all our luggage. We booked the spa suite which was quite big but it was very outdated and in poor condition. The elevators were terrible. They don't stop on the levels they're meant to and take you all the way up then stop every level on the way down instead of just going down. We also had a $50 drink and food credit included in our booking and when I asked to use it the manager looked at me as though I was being unreasonable because I had already had breakfast which was a completely separate addition to our booking. Then when checking out and validating our parking the attendant wanted to send me to wait behind all the check in customers although he had no one he was serving. After insisting I just needed to validate parking he then agreed to allow me to go through his counter. I've never had to push so much to access the inclusions I've paid extra for and found the whole experience tedious and not relaxing. The one positive note is that the breakfast selection is fantastic but definitely doesn't make it worth while given all the other negative aspects.

We had a lovely stay in the Stamford Plaza. The service was excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a bit dated, however clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent. The works on the lifts are ongoing, staff did tell us during check in and signs were placed at reception detailing the works and potential wait times. We found we were waiting up to 10/15minutes in the mornings when going down to breakfast, otherwise we didn’t experience any other long waits.

I stayed here for 11 nights. Very convenient. Across the road from the train station. Short walk into the city centre. Great rooms and the staff are amazing. The room service options are wonderful. I really enjoyed the satay. There is a small pool on the 20th floor, next to the gym. Very helpful. The pianist was very good and listening to him play in the bar in the evenings is a great way to relax. I highly recommend this place. Also the service attendants who clean the rooms are so nice. Ever so helpful and seem to enjoy their work. High standards throughout the hotel.
