Despite various people thinking this is rather 3 than 5 stars and the place being run down, I found my room being nice and the whole place being well maintained. The pools and the gym were actually great. The concept of 5 stars is pretty subjective anyway. And I have been to a lot of hotels in my life and in many countries around the world. Is this Stamford up there with a Raffles in Singapore ? No. But you don't pay the same room rate either. I can only speak for myself. And I would happily come back. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Stamford. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, modern and had a great view towards the oval. Didn't test out the gym but enjoyed our time at the pool. Can't comment on the food as we ate out. The hotel is in a great location and is walking distance to most tourist spots. Overall it was a great, fuss free experience. We'll definitely come back.

Stayed in the Junior Suite wow it was huge and very well laid out. The property is in perfect location as you have the trams right out front and train station. Everything is close by and within walking distance. The buffet breakfast was something to look forward to each day 😊 Room service available, overall for the price was very good value and would recommend

I thought that surely the people describing this hotel as a 3 star hotel at best were just being dramatic.. but it's true, the place is in desperate need of a makeover. Location is good, but stay elsewhere if you're looking for proper 5 star experience.

Great place to stay if you're going to the cricket! Comfy beds, nice cafe, great pool and gym. Special shout out to the Concierge Linc who was a very helpful guide and a great ambassador for the hotel and Adelaide. I'll be back
