Good hotel with spacious rooms, clean and comfortable. Beds a tad bit soft for me but I didn’t have any back issues. Pillows good. Sheets changed after 3rd night - stayed 5 nights. Good bathroom with two sinks and a good walk in shower but a nightmare noisy fan. We didn’t op for breakfast just bought some muesli, fruit and milk and had in the room as they supply bowls etc and a fridge plus a kettle and a microwave. Definitely recommend this hotel

Huge suite. Expected more toiletries than just shampoo, conditioner and soap. Only one bin in bathroom so I moved it out to lounge - for such a large room two bins would work better. These are just minor of course - bed was comfortable, shower great and kitchenette handy. So disappointed with the pool - sad, old, sparse furniture and pool had bird poo and bees in it so putting on the filter more often would be advisable! I don't drive so it's handy that there is a bus stop not far from entrance (also able to walk to city in 20 minutes). Easiest to pay cash on bus and there's an ATM down the road (not very far) at petrol station. Definitely check out "The Trophy Room" and "Overland Distillery", both short walk from hotel on Argyle Street. Staff at hotel were wonderful - friendly and helpful!!

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Staff very friendly. Nice room. Had a sofa bed as well in another room in our apartment. Our son said that was a bit uncomfortable. Good view of Hobart. 12 minutes walk to restaurants in North Hobart. Received a $10 voucher for every day did not have room cleaned. Will definitely stay there again

Were on second floor of main hotel and there were no lifts so had to carry everything up the stairs. Room was very spacious but the shower drain was slow and the main shower would overflow due to this. Also, when the room was refreshed the tea bags were not replaced. Great position and quiet but just a few oddities.

Recently stayed at Rydges Hobart for two nights and was thoroughly impressed. The heritage building adds a unique charm with its rich history and its slightly out-of-town location makes for a quieter stay. Hosts were warm and welcoming and the onsite restaurant is fantastic. Highly recommend for a cozy and memorable stay.
