•Rydges Hobart – all heritage-listed buildings, antique accommodation and tranquil gardens – combines the personal attention of a boutique hotel with the professionalism of a large chain of properties. That includes function spaces and event facilities, obviously. Surrounded by gardens, Rydges Hobart provides a spot from which to explore the city, celebrate with family and friends, or attend a conference or meeting. From a location just minutes from the business centre of Hobart. The four function venues found within Rydges Hobart are versatile spaces, each with natural light and high ceilings. Conveniently located directly next to the Braille Library, this space has been upgraded with a 60” LCD Screen and HDMI connection. This is the perfect space for a Board Meeting or as a breakout area separate to the plenary room.

Wonderful service in all areas of the facility. Dinner menu a pleasant surprise with tasty choices. Breakfast is adequate and missing any variety when staying more than a couple nights. The lack of a sink to wash the provided dishes and a fridge, which required my defrosting, as well as poorly sealed room entry doors cost this wonderful hotel a star on rooms. Regardless, I will be back:)
Room was spacious and clean. Great value. Beds are so comfy. Modern bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower. Even includes a microwave and a spectacular view of the courtyard. Breakfast was included and ample parking available. Heat pump was quiet and efficient. Big tv with good reception. Ai the receptionist was friendly and quick and even gave us a later checkout. We will definitely return to stay here whenever we come down to Hobart.
Wonderfully friendly and efficient check in staff. The Manor room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge! Location is great just a short drive to the city. Carpark spaces a plenty. Rates very reasonable. Definitely recommend 👌
The rooms are wonderful as is the staff. We have had a problem with the TV in our room and I am disappointed as there is not a fitness centre (gym) which it is clearly stated that the hotel has one and this was one of the main reasons that we picked this hotel in the first place. Please note it's next to a football group and we did hear that all day yesterday.
We had an amazing stay here! The room we stayed in was lovely and the location/view were both phenomenal. The service and everyone we encountered at the Rydges were all so nice too. Would highly recommend staying here and also it was free parking which, was a massive bonus.
