My assistance dog and I attended the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand's Education Hub for Occupational and Environmental Lung Diseases at Pullman on the Park and the entire experience was fantastic. It can be difficult at times navigating business trips home with an assistance dog, and this was hands down the best experience we have had to date. From arrival (by car) to departure, the accessible entry and the friendly and inclusive staff made the experience seamless for us. The rooms were a haven after busy days; quiet, spacious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the ground floor balcony for my girl, being able to cast streaming services from my phone, and the specialised light controls, which allowed me to create a calming sensory environment. This was such a thoughtful accommodation. The location is perfect for dogs, because you have the beautiful gardens right on the doorstep, and lovely quiet walks around the East Melbourne streets for coffee and a bite to eat when you need some time out. The spa and pool facilities looked so enticing, but we ran out of time, so will definitely try and remember our swimmers for the next visit. The conference venues the facilities were first rate. Plenty of space, multiple stations, quiet retreat spaces and multiple access points, temperature and ventilation was just right, well catered and supportive inclusive hospitality and AV staff. I hope that we get to attend more events here in the future. Thank you to all the staff that made this such a memorable stay. You have created an environment that is comfortable, accessible, and free of barriers for guests relying on service animals.

We were lucky enough to stay in one of the suites during our stay - very nice room. But there were a few things that were a bit below what we’d expect from a 5 star hotel - broken powerpoints, towels appeared older, dirty windows and a leaky shower head. We also weren’t a huge fan of the way the lights turned on/off and the temperature control was a bit hit and miss (the instructions didn’t match the controls that we had). That said, the breakfast was exceptional as was the executive lounge (amazing views from up there). Worth staying just for those elements alone!!! Overall, a great stay - just a few smaller details needed some attention.

The location opposite Fitzroy Gardens is great. The pet friendly room is wonderful. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Room service menu a little limited - please add a club sandwich. Breakfast room service had some problems with incorrect items delivered such as bread types and eggs incorrectly cooked (hardness). Meal trays were left in the hallway all day and we noticed a cellophane wrapper on the floor which was the for the several days of our stay indicating no vacuuming. Regardless we will stay again when visiting Melbourne as overall the experience is good. Please add more pet friendly rooms.

The classy front lobby, the ambience of the place and decor was just first class. The food was amazing and just so well presented always. The staff were friendly and so great to deal with. Thank you for a great AICM conference!

It is always such a joy to stay here regardless of a short or long stay. Such a beautiful welcoming team who are always happy to assist their clients. I love staying here and will look no further in the future. The location is so easy to navigate and there is plenty of parking. A joy as always! Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you.
