My stay at View Melbourne was a mixed bag. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made check-in and any inquiries smooth and pleasant. However, the rooms felt dated, and despite the hotel’s name, there isn’t much of a view to enjoy, as the property faces other businesses rather than scenic sights. On the bright side, the hotel is accessible to the CBD by tram, offering convenience for city trips. That said, it’s not close enough to walk to the city, so plan your travels accordingly. Overall, it’s a decent choice if you prioritize good service and don’t mind the dated rooms or lack of a view.

Extremely happy with our recent stay for Grand Final weekend. Service was very good and the room was fantastic with stunning views of the city. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Free wifi/ Large TV had all the streaming sites. Very nice bathroom and robe area. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. There is basement on-site parking (fee applies) and very frequent trams heading to the city at the very nearby tram stops. Friendly and efficient customer service. Will definitely be back.

Location is excellent, beautiful area surrounded by parks, not too close to (regarding noise) and not too far from the CBD. Just by Queens rd, which allows easy travelling to and from the main routes of the city. Close to the beach. Good to know - free parking on the street during weekends, little convenience store around the corner, restaurant is good, rooms are nice. The only minus is noise coming from the hallway if there are disrespectful people around with no manners.

Well, where do I start - Location is great in St Kilda Close to the tram, Being a Hotelier myself over a decade - I would never ever recommend this place to stay which offers worst Amenities being in great location. Lets begin with check-in moment you enter in the hotel the carpet of the lobby literally smells as the building is 20 years old. The gentleman standing behind the counter gave the keys upon check-in speaking minimal English. The staff will take your Credit Card but will not mention that they would hold the money on your Credit Card and that money they would NOT be released back to your account for a weeks. The room I was checked-in was 708 where there was No Air-Condition was functional so I have to sleep without Air-con especially in summer. When this issue was raised to Duty manager he offered me open the window and sleep instead of offering the other room. When the left the window open the amount people shouting and screaming in front of the hotel is absolutely pathetic will leave you with sleepless nights. The hotel would not even offer a fan in the room for me to sleep. As I was staying there for two nights I thought maintenance in the Hotel would fix the Aircon issue but I have to sleep the second night without the air-condition when I called the reception that I would not sleep as its HOT she stated that you can move your room to another room but your have to pack all off your things in the middle of the night and move to another room. The Clientele for this hotel is absolutely third-class the way obviously they run their business. Refrain from Staying in this hotel especially if you are on a business trip.

Great location, great rooms and great price. Was very unimpressed with the person checking me in, but most of the staff was nice. Disliked the fact they tried to sell parking for $19 per night, but didn't tell us that parking in the area is free on weekends. Overall very good stay, with spacious room and excellent location. All amenities you need and comfy beds as well. Would definitely stay again.
