Nice hotel, a reasonable walk from the Shrine of Remembrance. Rooms are a bit dated and missing a few mod cons of a newer hotel. Rooms felt a bit tired and missed a touch of charm. That said, the room was very comfortable, bed was great and the shower was powerful. The only detracting part was quite a bit of street noise, and notably ambulances due to the proximity to the Alfred Hospital. The buffet breakfast was pretty good and the service around the hotel and restaurant was great. Underground parking is available, but a number of spaces are very tight.

The location is great, and I like our room, it has a beautiful view. It’s just surprising that even small hotels offer complimentary bottled water, but this one doesn’t. The staff also weren’t very helpful.

Clean, comfortable rooms that are well appointed. Kettle and fridge in room, but no microwave or toasters. Beds large and comfortable. Lots of on site parking in secure carpark . Onsite restaurant and room service. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Well priced accommodation.

We stayed here recently whilst our son was in the Alfred Hospital and it is ideally located as we only had a short walk to get there. There is also public transport within easy walking distance if you are going elsewhere. The rooms were a good size and clean and the staff were all accommodating and easy to talk to. Bonus is the car park which although quite tight to get around is good to have for a secure place to leave the car for the full stay. In our opinion it was great value for the week and if you are considering staying here I would strongly suggest that you book direct and join their membership programme to save a few dollars. We will most definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

The room was adequate but had some drawbacks. The bathroom had poor lighting and no extractor fan. Th fridge was useless as it did not keep anything cold. The balcony furniture was really cheap quality. The bed was comfortable. Check in and checkout were quick. Any dealings with the staff were friendly. Located on the the tram line with easy access to city, St Kilda and beyond. Close to Alfred Hospital. Plenty of cafes in the area.
