Front dest staffs were very nice and friendly. Room was too small for the price. Basic amenities like bottled water, dental kits, etc. were not provided. Had to pay an additional $35 for parking. Not a choice when Grand Hyatt offers premium service at the same price. Breakfast buffet at Hyatt had 5 times the number of items served, and there was live kitchen as well. They even have free (valet) parking. Edit: It is convenient to have water, dental kits etc in the room itself.

I have stayed in this particular Holiday Inn Express 3 times now. I have been happy with it. It has been reasonably priced each time and the breakfast was appreciated. I have a couple of complaints - one is the almost $16 charge for a Kit Kat and 2 small packets of potato chips. Will make sure to take my own treats next time. Also the deposit I don't mind, but not when it is not refunded upon checking out - in my view, don't take a deposit unless you can refund it straight back. To be told that it will take 5 to 7 days didn't please me, and I had to ring the hotel after arriving back home when I realized that I didn't get the refund back - it was not told to me that I would be waiting to get it back.

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend, the bed was comfy & room very clean. Every staff member we came across was lovely, very helpful and genuine - despite being very busy! Special shout out to Summer, who was above and beyond with her service and always with a smile. We had breakfast daily, and it was a wonderful start to the day, with plenty of hot and cold choices. We’ll be back for sure! N

This holiday inn is an excellent location. The rooms standard, the breakfast standard but with huge seating area, the availability of a laundry room key for extended travel. But, I have to note issues with safety. Our room had a sticky door - not a big issue at face value - but three times housekeeping failed to lick our door. We told the front desk two times to no avail. When your room is not secure - it takes away from your stay.

Well if this wasn’t the worst check in service I have ever seen in my entire life. Myself and adult daughter arrived late from an interstate flight and had book a room that clearly stated 2 single beds. On arrival to the room there was only 1 double bed, I then phoned reception to tell them they had got the room setup wrong and asked for the correct single bed setup. The duty manager then told me I needed to spilt the beds apart and make them myself even though I told him there was only 1 lot of bedding to suit the 1 x double bed currently setup. After then waiting in the room nothing happened so we went back to the front counter this is around 11-12 at night. Where I then asked if we could please have a room with 2 x single beds as we both require our own bed. He was then shaking his head as if I was causing him a problem by not making my own beds in a hotel I have just paid over $600 for the next few nights . After I made it clear this was not acceptable he threw some room cards on the counter to a room setup as we had booked. Now after making a complaint to both IHG and the hotel via email 2 days into the stay and I still have not had a response. Honestly to say this check in is not acceptable was an understatement I have never witnessed anything so unprofessional in my life. You are a hotel u have one main job to give people the correct beddding that was clear on there booking. Photos of what we where told to sort out ourselves to what we finally got after a whole heap of drama. Avoid this hotel there are much better places to stay paying customers should not be treated like this
