The pub is in a great location, and the dining is good, honest pub food. My room was ok, with a comfy bed and ample space, but quite outdated. The lamp on my bedside table didn’t work, but my wife’s side did. Our balcony overlooked the beer garden and main road which was nice, but it was a shared balcony so no chance of a nude morning coffee. The bathroom was great until about 30 seconds into my morning shower. It started off fine, then the hot water pressure dropped to a trickle which lasted the remainder of my shower, I decided not to wash my hair that morning… My final critique of this accommodation; The toiletries supplied are very low quality mini shampoo and conditioner, and an individually wrapped mini bar of soap. Unless you enjoy washing like a prisoner, bring your own! Overall this place is okay for a night, primarily for its location. Definitely overpriced for what you get though.

What a great little pub you have there! Stayed 4 nights and everything was great. Special mention to your team. They were exceptional. Really friendly, super helpful and it was an absolute pleasure. food hot, beer cold and locally owned (not corporate!) thanks guys. :)

A group of us shared a meal before heading off to the Garrick Theatre. Our table was waiting, the staff were very helpful and it was lovely to see some seniors menu items available on a Sunday. Service was very prompt and food really tasty.

We had a wedding at this venue on the weekend. Chris will our host and he was fantastic. Couldn’t ask for a bit of bloke. Couldn’t ask for a better people service and the owners of the pub where very lovely great people. I will stay there again thank you Chris for your hospitality on the weekend.

The first time we dined here was a special evening with family after our wedding, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We were seated outside, which was lovely—though the live musician was a bit loud, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Our second visit was just as wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing food, amazing service—we'll definitely be back!
